List All 9 PricesX-Blades is a competent action game, but it lacks the fine touch that could have made it something special. It just cannot seem to make the most of its solid backbone. The diverse combat is too often made one-dimensional, the impressive visuals lack variety, and the imposing bosses are pushovers. Nevertheless, there is undeniable fun in vanquishing a horde of unholy enemies, and with two endings and a few unlockables, there is plenty of value for those who thrive on... Read more
Are you me? Or Ayumi? [THUMB1] Ayumi yummy yummy When embarking on a globetrotting adventure to discover lost artefacts and make a ton of cash at the same time, what would a shapely young female adventurer choose to wear? Perhaps a selection of outdoorsy but quite revealing hard wearing clothing a la Lara Croft? Or a rugged pair of canvas pants, a fedora and a whip? Or alternatively a thong, a skimpy balconette bra and a bloody great big pair of boots. Read more
X-Blades fails to excite on any level and falls flat in everything it attempts. Probably best to ignore this and pretend it doesn’t exist. Read more

Due to a recent lack of Hack and Slashers in my big ole’ games pile (now unfortunately consisting of shit and FPS games,) I decided to pick one up before the release and 40 quid retail of Bayonetta, incidentally I picked this game up for a tenner in GAME, not bad for what it is I guess, but I still think I could have bought something more useful, like a kebab. Cancel any plans you have for the next week, as after an hours play of this you will loose all feeling in your fingers from button mashing. The game plays like a bad Anime film, the game play is poor and the enemies un-interesting. The developers realised this so they took off most of the lead womans clothes, to hopefully distract you from the crap that is this game. If you like this style of game, just go out and get God of War or play some Dynasty Warriors. Read more

I was okay with the overly cartoonish effects, and I was okay with the Lara Croft ripoff of a story line & character. What irritated me about the game? Had I bought this for $5, none of the following would have. But anyways, here were the problems: It started out interesting, with what seemed like an entertaining (if not overly original) storyline with an attractive female lead. It quickly led to a boring, linear story which never ended up going anywhere or explaining... Read more
