I did enjoy playing this game, don’t get me wrong. But the negative points of it have made this an easy review for me. This is a game for rent without a shadow of a doubt. The shortness and the general issues with it mean I can’t really recommend anything else. You’ll finish it within a weekend I can guarantee that, and I don’t think there is any replay value in it, not even in the online play with the strength of the competition out there. Rent this game and do... Read more

Like a lot of other first person shooters Turning Point includes a multiplayer mode, but I wouldn't go binning your copies of Halo 3 or CoD4 just yet. Developers are presumably encouraged by Microsoft to produce these, and Turning Point is yet another one that shouldn’t have bothered - spending the time on sorting out the solo game’s problems would have been a far wiser idea. A choice of a piddling 4 maps and a maximum of 8 players doesn’t bode well, and... Read more

Something that doesn't get used enough in games these days is the "what if" factor. The handy plot device that allows you to create a whole new situation out of an existing one, just by changing a single variable. This thought must seemingly have been shared by the makers of Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. Read more

Perhaps the reason why the "what if" factor doesn't get used that often is that there's only so far you can go with it. As a story, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is a fantastic idea, but in execution, it does nothing to warrant spending your hand-earned cash on it over a Call of Duty or even a Medal of Honor title. It's ok, nothing special. The graphics look outdated now and gameplay feels much the same way, it's a very linear shooter. The story is easily overlookable. Online Multiplayer isn't worth a look in either. Despite all this though I did manage to have some fun. Do Not Buy! But it made for a pretty good rental. Read more

This retake on WWII can be either viewed as a stroke of pure genius, or as a cheesy remake. In this fictitious world, Winston Churchill is killed in 1938, and America doesn't enter the war until Nazi forces storm through Europe (unchallenged) and reach american soil. This will either be lame, or interesting to you. The game starts off as you on a skyscraper, with Nazi jets and paratroopers pouring in. As you make your way down the burning building, you strip a Nazi... Read more

It's an ok game, graphics aren't anything special they are ok. Game has better physics in some parts of the game than a lot of high end graphic shooters. Controls are easy and work fine. Enemy AI is just ok. It's a fun game which is all that counts. If your an experienced gamer you may like this one since obviously you won't be expecting it to be like a COD 4 so yea you know what to expect and are fine with it. Read more

This game is set in an alternative universe with a different time line to our own. The basic premise is that America has been invade by Nazi Germany and I the protagonist are a member of the resistance against the Nazi Occupation. It is a first person shoot 'em up much the same as any other. However it is quite entertaining and silly good fun if you like to shoot things up. Now let's talk weapons. There is a large variety to choose from, both historically accurate for... Read more

Fun: Sorry, but this is not bad. Yes, it does feel like a PS2 game, but the look is good, and the plan is fine, and the story board is thoghtful. Do not expect COD or MOH standard, but it is a bit of fun. Some of the whiny, hysterical reviews here only convince me that some gamers need to get out and chill once in a while. Read more
