The gameplay in Street Fighter IV introduces Focus Attack, which is a move that allows the player to absorb an attack and launch a counter attack, and it is performed by pressing the medium punch and kick buttons simultaneously. There are two phases to the attack. In the first phase, the player will shift into a new stance, at which point he or she is able to absorb one attack from the opponent. The second phase is the counter attack. The longer the player holds down the medium punch and kick buttons the more powerful the attack will be. It features traditional six-button control scheme returns, with new features and special moves integrated into the input system, mixing classic gameplay with additional innovations. As for special moves, it brings together Super Combos and EX Special Moves from previous series in to the game as well as introduces Ulltra Combo. Ultra Combos are long and cinematic moves featuring a lengthy combination of punches, kicks and other fighting techniques. Plus, there are Super Combo and Ultra Combo gauges featured in the game. Moreover, it introduces new characters including Abel, Crimson Viper, Rufus and El Fuerte.

As you’ll have seen from all of the screenshots and videos released thus far, Street Fighter IV is an incredible looking game. Running at a slick 60 frames per second and featuring a new, painterly art style with bulky, stylised characters and effects, this is easily the best looking fighter ever made. The fluidity of the animations and general high quality of the presentation is just the beginning though because all of this would be worth naught if the gameplay... Read more
This game looks awesome. However after that things go downhill fast. First and foremost the game is too hard on anything but 'easiest' setting. The last boss is frustatingly difficult even on easiest setting (unless you use boring Ken or Ryu). I would rather play normal SF2 that I downloaded from Xbox 360 arcade. This game goes to show that given fancy graphics and fast action almost any game will get 5 star ratings from most people. One word to discribe this game would... Read more

Fun: This review is from: Super Street Fighter IV (Xbox 360) (Video Game) Street fight 4 brought back the excitement of the fighting game genre that has been dormant for almost a decade. Super Street fighter 4 is even better. The offline experience is as you would expect. Dozens of characters who all play differently. The animation and sound design of the charactes is top rate. The play mechanics are also excellent. This leads me onto the real reason you should buy this... Read more
