On the whole, Rock Revolution just falls short on every level. If Konami wants to get back into this genre they’re going to have to do much better than this. The bar has been raised now, and if they want to compete in this soon to be crowded market they’ll have to go back to take it again from the top. Read more

If Rock Revolution came out two or three years ago, it might have been revolutionary, but in 2008, it's not even relevant. Uninspired presentation, a tiny tracklist that includes no master tracks, a complete lack of vocal support, uninteresting gameplay, and a barebones Career mode are just a few of the many ways in with Rock Revolution fails. In fact, it fails to live up to its name, Konami's past, and, most importantly, the competition. Read more

Released to fill a gap in a market that doesn’t really exist. Cheap, bland, and pretty much tasteless, like that value-brand white block that claims it’s chicken. Read more

Guitar Hero was good. That is a fact. Guitar Hero 2 was better, everything was refined and Harmonix had started to learn the importance of using original tracks for the game, not some, arguably-decent-but-still-not-the-real-thing, covers. By number three all the tracks were original, and nowadays both Guitar Hero and Rock Band exclusively use orinigal masters on all their tracks. So whatever the hell Konami were thinking when they commissioned AN ENTIRE GAME OF COVERS,... Read more

I needed to replace My original Rock band drums, which my 5 yr old broke by using the drums as a ladder. Sadly no one sells rock band drums less than 50 dollars, and Rock band 2 drums were a bit more expensive that that . This deal satisfied the drum need and threw in a game for free. BTW Pull me under was spot on even though it was a cover. I <3 newegg. Read more

Keep in mind, paid $8.96 for the game and drum set... My take is this - This game really isn't bad, just isn't as good as it's competitors. Start with the drum set, I'd read nothing but bad things about it. I have to say, I disagree with all of them. The set feels tough, works well, and has one feature that I really like... The drumsticks rest comfortably on this set, well out of the way and won't just fall off if you nudge it. My 15 month old has given it quite a... Read more
