Review Summary

Rock Band features wired drums, wired guitar and wired microphone. The microphone is a standard USB microphone. The game includes songs like Rolling Stones’ “Gimme Shelter,” Aerosmith’s “Train Kept a Rollin,”and so on. Rock Band includes three Solo Tours for the drums guitar, and singing. The Solo Tours, you play five songs at a time, and as you finish, you move on to the next one. Rock Band really succeeds marvels at the Band World Tour mode. You can create band members and perform in different cities and venues available. You’ll gain or lose fans, at the same time, unlocking larger venues. The songs are played in different ways, and some songs are repeated. The Band World Tour mode is quite long and the game has 45 licensed songs. Reviewers find that Rock Band is certainly the most ambitious and successful music game available on the market. The Drums Solo Tour and Band World Tour, and the four-player band multiplayer mode make Rock Band the best multiplayer games available. The sound, the visual and the animations are all stunning. The lighting is amazing. The characters look real. And the reviewers also say that the cinematic camera angles and new animations make this the best looking music game.

We do recommend Rock Band - it's outrageous, hilarious and memorable, and the best four-players-on-one-screen multiplayer game since GoldenEye - but you shouldn't buy it until you've thought long and hard about what else you could spend the money on. If you're talking about spending 100 quid on Xbox 360 games, there are plenty of three- or four-game combinations that represent stunning value by comparison, and as long as Rock Band's priced the way it is now, that's th... If you’re in a group, this is about as fun as gaming is ever likely to be. If you’re on your own without any gaming internet access, the full pack might seem like a waste of cash. However you play it, Rock Band is a natural progression from Guitar Hero. And since it shares the same addictive brilliance of the Harmonix axe wielding series, it can’t be recommend highly enough. 2 Comments You could argue - and bear with us on this one - that Rock Band is the ultimate role-playing game. It's like World of Warcraft for the mosh-pit crew. Only instead of a group of like-minded adventurers bringing down giant ogres in the Caves of Pretendium, your merry band takes up arms against the toughest tracks that the rock world can throw at you. The vast majority of these songs are original tracks from the artists, with only a few covers scattered throughout the tracklist. Only a few of the covers really stick out much. The Geddy Lee on "Tom Sawyer" is a bit overblown, and the singer of Mountain's "Mississippi Queen" is a bit odd sounding as well. But by and large, the covers blend in nicely, and whoever did the vocals for Steven Tyler and Bruce Dickinson on the Aerosmith and Iron Maiden songs respectively de... Read more
