Yet despite the glaring flaws in Mercanries 2, the game still manages to have enough about it to save it from the depths of gaming oblivion. Somehow, against all the odds, the game still manages to be fun. In conclusion, Mercenaries 2 is the type of game that all pyromaniacs should be purchasing. If you love explosions accompanied with great sound effects and visuals, then this is worth a purchase, or at least a rental if you want to spend a whole weekend completing it with a friend (which seems like the better option). This generation of systems is drowning in sand box games but Mercenaries 2 proves to be another worthy contender.
