Half Life 2: The Orange Box includes Episode Two, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. They are all incredibly different games but with the same graphics. Episode Two is a continuation of the Half-Life 2 story, with lots of action. The Orange Box depicts the story of a woman who wakes up in a tiny box inside some lab facility run by a mysterious company called Aperture Science. You have a portal that enables you to walk out of one room into another. You will be introduced to portals and gun which you will use to fire portals onto walls, ceilings, and floors. The fire buttons are used to create blue and orange portals. The female voice dialogue may direct or misdirect you, so before doing anything you have to think well. Team Fortress 2 is a multiplayer shooter in which the red team deals with the blue team. There are six maps in the game, each with its own focus. These are six tough puzzles from the main game, challenges and time limit to complete the level, the number of portals to use, or the number of steps to take. The advanced puzzles are hard bur not unsolvable. Bronze, silver, and gold medals are awarded for each of the three challenge types across six levels. Reviewers finds The Orange Box to be a great package which guarantees satisfaction as there’ll surely be at least one thing gamers will like in this collection, if not all of it.

18 Comments Here it is again if you haven't already played it on PC three years back, or on the original Xbox two years back, or at any point in between. The Orange Box contains not only the critically acclaimed Valve shooter, but the subsequent expansions to boot: Episodes One and Two. It's now reached a point where we can refer to the whole lot as a Half-Life 'saga' and be done with it. Read more

The Orange Box includes all the content of The Black Box, plus the original Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Episode One. Half-Life 2: Episode Two -- the second installment in Valve?s episodic trilogy advances the award-winning story, leading the player to new locations outside of City 17. Portal -- a pioneering type of single player action game that rewrites the rules for how players approach and manipulate their environment ? much like how Half-Life 2?s Gravity Gun... Read more

Frame rate and loading issues aside, the content in The Orange Box for the PS3 is as good as the content in the superb Xbox 360 version. This is definitely a must-have game for the platform that will provide countless hours of single- and multiplayer action. It might not be the definitive version of The Orange Box, but it still represents one of the greatest values in gaming history. Read more

Slow start aside, Episode Two is every bit the worthy successor to the genius of Half-Life 2 and Episode One. As a package, the Half-Life 2 elements of The Orange Box are near faultless. Read more

Just buy this game, ok? Half Life 2, both Episodes, and Portal are all amazing. Team Fortress 2, I haven't really touched, as I'm not interested in it very much, so can't comment on that. The rest of the package is well worth it though, and at the moment, it's selling brand new for under £20. If you buy this because of my review, you will thank me very much. I don't recommend rubbish games. Read more

This magnificent deal consists of 3 games and two expansion packs, Half life 2 and the first twi if three episodes, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. Half-Life 2 (and its episodes) is a first person shooter with a unique feel. Mysterious, exciting and mentally stimulating it has much to offer to gamers of all stripes. Portal is essentially a puzzle game, players are obliged to use a device to open two linked portals. Stepping into one portal and exiting out of the other, you... Read more

The Orange Box combines Half Life 2 and subsequent Episodes 1 and 2 with Team Fortress 2, a team based online first person shooter and Portal, a wholly original first person puzzle game. The main attraction though is undoubtedly Half Life 2, particularly its Episodes which appear for the first time on a console. Half Life 2 is simply brilliant, game of the decade material. Now roughly five years after its release Gordon Freeman's adventures are held in the highest regard... Read more
