List All 13 PricesThere are a bunch of Metallica-themed extras included, from live video of performances to Metallifacts, which are performances of each song accompanied by trivia about the band, the song, and the game. The robust music studio from World Tour is back with a few new guitar sounds, but this game is really about playing songs, not recording them. At 49 songs, the game gives you less than the $60 World Tour, but $60 is less than you pay for 49 downloaded songs, so it's really... Read more
Overall anyone who loves Metallica will want to own this disc, and anyone who is a fan of the series so far cannot go without it. Guitar Hero: Metallica not only provides some of the most challenging songs yet but it also packs in loads more too, in fact it all goes so well that it really does feel like a marriage made in heaven. We were always slightly alarmed whenever a Metallica track cropped up in Rock Band or Guitar Hero III. They were so difficult it was like a big sign saying, 'You shall not pass!' being thrust in our faces. Read more
Still, it’s a pretty decent package all round, with some great songs to play and a well-worked career to rock through. It might have taken everyone’s favourite aging millionaire rockers to jump on the music game bandwagon, but thankfully once they did they got it done properly. Add in the fan service through making-of videos and Metallifacts (basically the game plays the in-engine performance of a tune and brings up facts about each) and you’re onto something that... The drum patterns range from overly simple to extremely challenging and there's now an Expert+ mode for some songs where two drum pedals must be used, allowing you to reproduce the double bass drum sections of these songs. Just like Rock Bands music is more american influenced then so is GH Metallica. Considering that they have only charted 4 or 5 songs in the UK in 20 years I found it strange that GH used Metallica. Anyway since I enjoy GH a lot, I decided to give it a try. This is definetly one for the Metallica fans. Some songs are fun to play but eventually most are repetitive and eventually grind you down. It also has the most boring and repetitive song in the GH series so far.(Bob... Read more

Fun: This review is from: Guitar Hero: Metallica - Game Only (Xbox 360) (Video Game) I caught the guitar hero bug a few months ago and it lasted a whole two weeks. At first guitar hero metallica and other guitar hero games are fun but they get boring quickly. At some point you will sit there thinking, why am i doing this? why dont i just play the cd or by a real guitar. Its not worth all the money. Read more
GH Metallica allowed me to revisit Metallica and reappreciate just how good their music is and how much fun it can be to play their songs. I love the extras, especially the Master of Puppets live recording. Very cool to see musicians getting involved in the presentation of their music through a game. Overall, one of the more difficult GH games, but such a challenge that it's absolutely exciting to play. Read more
