This action game lets you follow the adventures of Niko Bellic, a war veteran from Bosnia. As with the other GTA games much game is fairly open.

The game features multiplayer and the possibility of downloading extra content exists.

GTA is usually one of the more brutal games on the market and this one is not an exception.

The Family Gamer and Grand Theft Auto IV don't necessarily go together. But as many of you have told me on my Twitter feed, this is just the sort of thorny subject you want to hear about. So here I reflect on my first two hours spent in Liberty City and find I am surprised by just how much health and life there is in the place. Read more

So, as you can see GTA IV is not perfect, but it is unlikely there will ever be a game we could fairly label with that heavy moniker. It is however an absolutely essential landmark title for the games industry. In terms of the sheer scope, emotion, ambition, and the stupidly high fun factor it offers, there is no better available in the genre today. In fact, no one else comes anywhere near. In truth, it’s seeing where Rockstar go next that should be getting people the... Read more

So anyway, to the crux of the matter. Yes it’s violent, slightly sexy - even nasty at times and gratuitously so, but let’s all just remember it’s a just a GAME, and a game that you miss to your detriment as a rounded gamer and normal member of society. GTA IV is quite simply another masterful piece of escapism and entertainment from Rockstar. I expect that many, many drinks will go cold, and meals and appointments will be missed thanks to it. The stonking... Read more

Grand Theft Auto is a game that has generated much media interest over the years. Is it worthy? I found that GTA IV was only a transitional successor to the previous entry to the series (GTA: San Andreas). Liberty City is extremely lively and well detailed, and there is so much content on the disc, it will keep you playing for hours. But at the same time, Liberty City is too small to house GTA anymore. It's as if the series has outgrown its city. With all the content... Read more

#12 Ya it is short, and no it was until 100% so i took the side missions as well, thats why i was so disaapointed with the game, with the hype surounding the game, and all the reviews giving it top score, i was sure i was in for a experience like with GTA SA, but nah it was a poor shell of a game, where you can see that they have put a lot into the mulitplayer instead of the single player game. I personally think this is a great game. Well recommend GTA iv for the xbox 360, the graphics are of course not just much improved but so impressive they beat any other game from me. Everything is very detailed from the aiming, saving, cars and realism. Read more
