    So overall, if you are of the proper age and have no problem with grasping that this is fiction and shouldn't be re-enacted on the streets of your town, then you should buy this game. It's the best example of the sandbox style of gameplay that GTA first started and the best thing that Rockstar have done, I can only hope that the next GTA is as large a jump as San Andreas to GTA IV was.     So anyway, to the crux of the matter. Yes it’s violent, slightly sexy - even nasty at times and gratuitously so, but let’s all just remember it’s a just a GAME, and a game that you miss to your detriment as a rounded gamer and normal member of society.     #12 Ya it is short, and no it was until 100% so i took the side missions as well, thats why i was so disaapointed with the game, with the hype surounding the game, and all the reviews giving it top score, i was sure i was in for a experience like with GTA SA, but nah it was a poor shell of a game, where you can see that they have put a lot into the mulitplayer instead of the single player game.     took out everything that was fun about san andreas and didn't really replace it with anything, also most of the missions are boring and repetitive.     Grand theft auto 4 is a stunning technical and artistic achievement. Dont let any bad reviews fool you. Almost everything, from the character animations to the clutter on the streets, will amaze you. The city is completely open and allows you to explore the whole thing with boats, cars, bikes, and even helicopters. The story is fairly long and remains exciting throughout the game. 9 out of 10 from me. Not perfect but close. Read more
