List All 8 PricesFrom the mind of Tim Schafer and Double Fine Productions comes Brütal Legend, a 3rd person Action game rich in combat, imagery and storytelling that delivers lighter-flicking fun sure to melt your face clean off. Brütal Legend tells the tale Eddie Riggs, the ultimate roadie. The “roadie’s roadie”, Eddie is the 1st person anyone calls when they need guitars tuned or stages rigged. Action PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 Double Fine Productions EA Games 16+ Out Now 1 Just when I thought every possible theme for a third person action game had been covered, along comes Double Fine with their Heavy Metal themed action adventure Brutal Legend. But how well does this age old music genre translate into a video game experience? Surprisingly, and perhaps more strangely, quite... Read more
Brutal Legend is a conundrum, a game I wanted to love with all of my heart, that starts off on one path at an exhilarating pace, but then jumps off, and gets bogged down in ideas and concepts that it didn’t need to trouble itself with. It has one of the most consistent and thorough aesthetics of any video game out there; the world it creates is real, the visual themes that run throughout are expertly expressed and the values at the heart of the narrative are followed... 6 Comments World War 2 makes sense. Futuristic sci-fi seems reasonable, too. Halo was a stretch, but they made it work. But trying to make a real-time strategy game about heavy metal is clearly madness, the sort of thing that even Ozzy Osbourne's addled grey matter wouldn't come up with. Read more
Brutal Legend started playing like a God of War style fighter and then blossomed into a great RTS and really caught me completely unawares. This is yet another must have game from EA, especially so for those who love to rock. Read more

You’ll love the brilliant soundtrack, the wonderful characters, the superlative voice acting, the clever and funny script and the world it all inhabits. Shame about the gameplay though. Read more
I too like others, decided to buy this game after reading an overwhelming amount of praise for this game and boy was I not disappointed! Its the best fun I've had out of a game for ages and I don't think I've ever properly laughed at a game until now, the cut scene are brilliantly done with Jack Black as his comedian best, and Ozzy with his one liners, you'd think I was writing a review for a film haha. Anyway the gameplay itself is rather like Overlord, but done to a... Read more

Fun: This review is from: Brutal Legend (Xbox 360) (Video Game) If you ever heard and liked heavy metal (NWOBHM) this game is for you, just imagine cruising in a custom car with Manowar or Motorhead screaming from the radio and moreover in landscapes that would fit perfectly on the cover of an LP at the time and you're set ! The track listing is quite long and you get to see Ozzy from time to time. This game is really fun and the action (if a bit repetitive) really... Read more
