The switch back and forth from PC to 360 controller is never easy, but Battlefield: Bad Company certainly incentivises the experience. It even got me wrestling with my AV amp in search of some quality surround sound to match the rest of the game. Read more
While not a complete success, Battlefield: Bad Company has many plus points, and provides a limited but fun single-player campaign that, while not wholly original, does have some memorable moments. Ultimately, Battlefield: Bad Company is a game that promises a lot but struggles to deliver more than a slightly above average FPS experience. Most frustrating though is the clear potential of how good Bad Company could be online, if you could field a team comprised of 12 friends and talk to each other. This was an enjoyable game by all means. Completed the single player game on both Normal and Hard difficulties. The Multiplayer was great fun also, found it really enjoyable trying to destroy the gold crates. As others have mentioned the AI of the team mates can be very frustrating, I watched one of my team mates fire constantly at an enemy without them dying, while I walk around the corner and die really easy... ... all in all this is a good rental and would recommend...
