The DIR-300 creates a basic network connection for the home and enables user to share it securely with the use of Tomizone using the D-Link Wireless G Router. Connect the Wireless G Router to a broadband modem and users can wirelessly share their high-speed Internet connection and carry out many activities simultaneously such as surfing the web, checking e-mail, and chatting with family and friends online. The router features a built in firewall that protects the user’s network from harmful attacks by minimizing the threats of hackers or intruders. In addition to this, D-link has installed other security features like MAC address filtering, which prevents unauthorized network access and parental control features that prevent underage users from viewing inappropriate content. The Wireless G router also supports Dual SSID for public and private networking as well as WEP and WPA encryption. It comes with one detachable dipole antenna. The Dual SSID provides users with the option of creating Public Access Wi-Fi Hotspot with Tomizone. The package includes four Ethernet ports that lets users connect to Ethernet-enabled PC, print servers as well as other devices. Also, using the Setup Wizard which is included during purchase, users can set up the wireless network by themselves. The wizard guides users through a simple process to install the new hardware and connect to the network. It also configures the Internet Service Provider (ISP) settings to quickly establish broadband Internet connectivity. Also, the Wizard enables users to add new wireless devices onto the network.
