List All 10 PricesIn Wii Play, the star of the game is you! Create your own personal Mii character with the Wii console’s built-in Mii Channel and then play as yourself in this compilation of nine simple, fun games like target shooting, table tennis and fishing. Wii Play comes bundled with a free Wii Remote, so a friend can instantly join in the action in any of the included games. You can play at home or save your Mii on your Wii Remote and play with it on a friend’s console, or use a…
Pose Mii does exactly what it say on the tin as it asks you, by twisting and turning your Mii in various directions, to match up with a silhouette in a bubble. The bubble with the silhouette starts at the top of the screen and then falls down, waiting for you to twist the Wiimote in the right direction to match up with what’s inside. Some of the silhouettes show Miis with their arms held out or their legs twisted in different ways and you must change yours to match... Read more
Wii Play’s overall lasting appeal will centre around trying to beat you mates high score or visa-versa as all the games are based around the ‘keep going as long as you can’ gameplay of yore but ultimately as the game is lacking in any form of depth it will gather a whole load of dust over the coming months. It is only fun to play in the shortest of short bursts and even then can get boring rather quickly. The old adage that you get what you pay for probably sums up... Read more
We'll be honest, we weren't expecting much from Wii Play. But it turns out all nine games are surprisingly addictive, and if you're planning on buying another Remote you really should go for this. Read more
Being informed on a subject you intend to spend a lot of time with is important. Manuals should be read signs acknowledged and tests taken when deemed necessary; Nintendo has decided that the Wii Remote is also such an object. And so,Wii Play was born; a selection of mini-games that sees you fish, shoot and play laser hockey with a friend to make people remote-savy. It’s sounds fair, but you can’t help but feel that this simple task has been made a little too simple... Read more
You should only really consider this if you would like an extra controller. If you already have four you do not really need this. The mini-games can be fun but if you can hold out for Wario Ware or Mario Party there will be a lot more than nine mini games to interest you. If you are getting a controller anyway £5 is not a lot to spend for a game to add to your collection. Read more
A mix of the good, the bad and the ugly. Look on the bright side, at least the bad and ugly don't last long! Read more
I just bought Wii Play with Wii Remote for $49.99. I agree with reviewer Bipi101 "... this is a 10$ game bundled with a remote. Only worth buying because it comes with remote, other than that, it should be in the 15$ bin." The games are fun and good for learning Wii controls and movements, but they are not very in-depth. Each game lasts only 2-5 minutes. I expected more. I would definitely not pay over $10-15 for this game, but with the remote, it's a good value. I do... Read more
Good value in the sense that you're paying for the 40 dollar controller you would have to buy anyway, but getting extra fun little games with it for an extra 10 bucks. Read more
Summary: If you need another remote, buy this game instead, otherwise, i'd give it a miss. Read more
Good multi-player game. Unbelievable value as the cost of this game is cheaper than buying a stand-alone controller. So why buy a controller when you can get one here and a fun game? Read more
