The Wii Fit comprises of body test and training. The body test in Wii Fit is a short and simple set of activities used to gauge your body’s performance. After choosing Mii, a virtual caricature unique to Wii, to represent you, the Wii Balance Board is used to measure your center of balance, Body Mass Index (BMI) and body control. These results determine your Wii Fit age. The body test also allows you to track your progress by stamping the calendar everytime you complete the body test. You can also set a BMI goal for some point in the future which can be customized to fit your schedule. The Wii Fit comes with four training modes, namely yoga to tone muscles and improve posture, balance games to help develop your sense of balance, strength training to build and tone muscles, and aerobics to help tone your body. Training features include a 3D demo which gives you a 3D model of your chosen exercise as performed by a virtual trainer. Besides that, you will also gain important feedback on your performance during and after the Wii training activities. Additional features include a favourites section which allows you to select from a list of 10 activities you choose most often, varying between each different user, as well as a Wii Fit Bank which stores all the Fit credits you earn during your training in order for more activities to be available to you.

It does assist you in exercising, but perhaps it is better to see it as a journey to become healthy and active. With a MSRP of $89.99 for the game and the Wii Balance Board included, Wii Fit is a steal! Read more
Wii-Fit is going to be big. Regardless of this review, the wider press reception, or even the adoption of hard-core gamers, it will be the story of 2008. This will all be driven by mums, dads, kids and even grand parents who will all discover the joys of a fitting follow up to Wii-Sports. What's more, after happily spending GBP 179.99 to play Tennis, Golf, Boxing and the rest, Wii-Fit's GBP 69.99 price tag will seem like a bargain. Read more
In spite of that, it’s still one of the better ways of trying to get in shape from the comfort of your own home, and regardless of how unscientific some of its ideas are the game at the core is entertaining. But remember, it’s still just a mini-game compilation, and as a result it is something that is quite easy to get bored with after frequent play. Read more

I got a Wii recently, and this was the game I wanted most. I'm awful for putting on weight when I eat junk food and constantly have to watch what I eat. For a little light and fun exercise, I will go onto the Wii Fit to help me shift those extra few pounds. There are lots of games, and more and more are unlocked as you play on the games more times. There are some games like balance, aerobics, muscle workouts and yoga with your very own personal trainer. Exercise includes... Read more
Ok, I confess - I am one of those annoying people that love the wii fit. I am the one that will stand in the corner of the pub and sings its praises to all who will listen (usually nobody, but I'll try anyway). So why do I like it so much? Let me explain... Firstly - I waited so long to be able to get one. I spent hours around Christmas time, painstakingly refreshing various websites that promised me that they would find me a wii fit in stock. They didn't. So I gave up... Read more
My husband bought this for my birthday, I'm 36 and a bit on the chunky side. I love it, I noticed a difference in myself after only a week of using it. The instructor is encouraging and it makes you feel good to beat your own record. The balance games are really fun and I love the yoga. I have a joint condition and the vast majority of exercises are easy on my joints, although at first on a couple of the muscle exercises my knees got a twinge, I found I could still... Read more
