The Conduit The Conduit is a first-person shooter from High Voltage Software . Ever since its announcement, it has had gamers all excited about its existence and the things it will offer. The single player mode is, in truth, a little short, but the online, multi-player options more than makes up for it. There are many interesting maps, approaching 20 weapons and an enjoyable selection of deathmatch and team-play play modes on offer, including the interesting Bounty Hunter, which obliges you to hunt down a specific target. If you're into your first-person shooters on the PS3/360, you'll find The Conduit quite basic and over-hyped, but the point is that it's been made purely for Wii owners and taken on these terms, The Conduit scores highly on looks and game-play. Defently think this is one of the best games for the Wii. And defently the best shooting game for it. Has a great storyline and single player mode. The online multiplayer is great and you can play with just your friends if you want. The controls are great, point with the Wiimote, B to shoot, the numchuck Z to lock on to a foe, the stick to move around. Must have for anyone who owns a Wii. Read more
Controls very responsive. Good move and shoot gameplay ( if slightly old school). Graphics reminded me of timeplitters slightly cartoon like. Only real complain is that save points are two far apart at times. Read more
I strongly believe that The Conduit deserves way more credit than GI gives it here. For real, you're going to compare the graphics of a Wii game to Modern Warfare? That's a low blow. You just can't do that! With that out of the way, I'll get on with the review. Concept Basically, create a great hardcore Wii game. And High Voltage Software succeeds. Graphics The graphics are the best that I've seen on the Wii. I would say even better than Super Mario Galaxy, basically... Read more
