Review Summary
MySims opens on a town that is almost in ruins. You will have to rebuild the town to attract new characters. You will be given the pieces required to build your workshop and your home. Construction is simple, based on a diverse collection of prefab boxes and bric-a-brac that you can drag about using the Wii Remote. When you pick up a piece of flair for your structure, blue dots will appear wherever they can actually be placed. There are several different-themed sets of building blocks you can choose from, however the game will show first pieces that are most appropriate for the structure you’re building. Building furniture is easy, as the game highlights the pieces you need in green, and grabbed pieces will snap into position when you get them close enough with the Wii Remote. The sim sex is neutral, so you can mix male and female hairstyles, eyes, mouths, and outfits as you think correct. Reviewers find that even though the visuals are simple, they are quite impressive. The game looks sunny in a playful visual style that opens a suite of cheerful, location-specific tunes. MySims is about charmingly blocky characters who live in a similarly blocky town, making it more like a doll house than a game.

The graphics are bright and colourful in line with the happy feel of this game and the gameplay never seems to get jaded. As with the past sims games, all the sims seem to speak their own weird forign language and instructions are all given via subtitles. There are tasks you can partake to help out the mayor to get his town back to it's previous prosperous, popular state, or you can just have fun around the town, in the great tradition of previous sims games & animal ... Review: MySims (Wii)
Reviewer: gamestyle.uk25 October 2007- Overall 7

MySims is a game where you can play for hours and not notice the time passing. Fans of the more traditional Sims games may not like its cute and simplistic approach, but if you have any creative bones in your body, you will enjoy turning your quiet little hamlet into a bustling town. The game is huge, both in a geographical sense, and also in terms of gameplay. Once your town has reached that five star status (which should take you over 20 hours), the game won’t end. ... I'm really proud that EA put a lot of effort into a Nintendo Wii title and, for the most part, their patience with this title shows. The controls highlight just how diverse and easy to play the Wii can be when it comes to gaming and the little tykes will love decorating their houses with furniture they've crafted with relative ease. Animal Crossing fans will also get a lot from this game - but I fear that regular fans of The Sims might find MySims a bit too simple. Ho... Read more

Editorial: The Sims 2: Pets has already appeared on the Wii, but it was just a simple port of the PlayStation 2 version with little real use made of the Wii remote. This though is a complete reimagining of the whole The Sims concept made exclusively for Nintendo's consoles. The concept is largely the same as always as you take control of the lives of your own fictional family in what's a cross between a video game and an interactive version of Big Brother. The graphic... Read more

"Slow, Slow and not worth buying"
Reviewer: wiigamerevews.co.uk28 March 2008- Overall 2

I bought this game for my 10 year old daughter. She thinks it is the worst game she's ever bought as the load speed is so slow. She has numerous Wii games, but considers this to be a total waste of money. In my daughters own words " it's suitable for people who want to sit around all day waiting for the screen to move" Read more

I Got my; My Sims game last week so i have had it for 1 week and since then i have been sssoo addicted to it and can't stop playing it.
