Overall LEGO Indiana Jones is a very good quality game that comes highly recommended, it sticks to a perfect difficultly level for the majority of gamers throughout and should be a huge hit with fans of the franchise. Puzzles do become slightly tedious towards the end, but it still remains one of the most enjoyable and well rounded titles so far this year. Read more

What at first seems a silly recreation of a beloved film trilogy (technically now a quadrilogy, but obviously the designers didn't have time to do Crystal Skull, or have a sequel planned) actually turns out to be cracking good fun. Iconic moments from Raiders, Temple and Crusade are spoofed Lego-style in pre-game animations and you can whip enemies, swing across ravines and discover more treasure than Long John Silver ever could. The idea of a monkey carrying a machine gun. The random appearance of C-3PO's noggin in a cutscene. The way Indy raises his arms in fright when faced with snakes. How pressing the C button makes Jones wrap his whip around enemies before spinning them like a whirligig. Working out how a horse, a torch and a spade can unlock that final artefact piece. If you like other Lego games, you will like this one. If you don't, however, you won't. The game is a role playing one and is very child friendly, having slightly funny scenes that are better for a younger audience, and anyone can start playing at any time in a game alongside the first player, which is good for children who have invited friends round.
