Review Summary

The theme of Endless Ocean is submarine life. Experience diving into tropical waters and discover the amazing aquatic life in all its beauty. In Endless Ocean, you find yourself in a tranquil sea filled with unique creatures. You are free to explore the underwater, looking for fish, taking photographs or just swim with these amazing sea creatures. Endless Ocean is more than a diving experience and exploration than a game. By using the Wii Remote you can relate with some fish. You can come face-to-face with creatures such as, angelfish, penguins, walruses and dolphins. You can also discover lost ruins and secret diving locations. The Wii Remote`s pointer capabilities are used to navigate throughout most of the game, be it directing the ship to a spot on a map or directing the diver where to swim. You will be amazed by the beauty of the undersea colours giving full credit to the graphics and visuals. If you want to interact with ocean life, you just point at it and then press the A Button. On top of that you can share Friend Codes with a friend and explore his or her sea experience via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Reviewers find that Endless Ocean is a relaxing game meant for old and young alike.

Endless Ocean is worth a look for anyone interested enough in the game to read the review. Sure, its pacing is often painfully slow, and you'll see most of what there is to see in a few hours because the ocean isn't quite as endless as the title indicates. Nevertheless, when Endless Ocean is at its best, it's soothing, beautiful, fun, and unlike any other game out there. Read more

Endless Ocean is simple to the point of being quite dull, and certainly no masterpiece. But sometimes all a game needs to do is offer you something different, and it's an honest relief to play something that doesn't shout in your ear, set any time limits, or feature a single explosion; a game whose raison d'être is just beauty and peace. Playing this game is almost like taking a holiday from gaming. If you can live with that paradox - and if you can find it reasonably... Read more

The main thing you’ll be occupying your time with is looking for new species of aqua-based creatures. With a book up in the boat containing tons of ‘blank’ pages full of silhouettes hinting at the shear number of species to discover, you can expect to spend plenty of time waggling that wrist. This is down to Endless Ocean’s slightly peculiar notion that stroking a fish allows you to discover its species name and information, although we’re hardly going to criticise th... Read more

I bought this on the strength of the reviews on here, and I'm really pleased that I did. I have only had the Wii for a week, but this is the game my partner and I have spent most time playing so far. When he saw the box and I told him what the game was about he thought it sounded rubbish, but after watching me play for about 15 mins he was hooked, and now I can't get him off it so I can have a go! Very relaxing, easy to play, and generally a nice way to unwind - you c... Read more

My Girlfriend saw the advert for this game and insisted that we rush out and buy it. So, out we went 30 minutes later im watching her swim around under the ocean with a scuba tank to Enya. This, its fair to say is not a game for a lad like me who would enjoy the game more if there were pirates, man eating sharks, harpoons and flare guns. Having said this, the game does have a very impressive visual style and is well observed. The games is not particularly linear and y... Read more
