The Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000’s VGA optics features 2x the light collection than regular VGA optics. Besides that, it also can auto-adjust for low-light conditions. The Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000 comes with a fun flexible base that can be bended, folded and shaped for the best angle on laptop screens, flat panels and traditional monitors. Besides that, it is optimized for Windows Live Messenger which means that it allows Photo Swap right in the video call window, Windows Live Call Button, LifeCam dashboard that allows you to add special effects and to control your webcam all from the Windows Live Messenger window, as well as one-touch blogging that allows you to upload photos to your blog on Windows Live Spaces. The Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000 has a 1.3 mega pixel sensor that allows you to take photos, and a built-in microphone that automatically picks up your voice. Besides that, it is also has broad IM compatibility, including compatibility with Windows Live, AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Microsoft Office Communicator and Skype. Besides that, the Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000 features 3x digital zoom and is always focused without the need of fine tuning.
