I purchased this web cam as an upgrade to a lesser model creative i previously owned. As with the last one, this feels very sturdily built, and due to the pivoting back leg can be clipped to a laptop or TFT screen, as well as sitting atop a cathode ray monitor or sitting on a desk. Same problem as laptop users mentioned. We have a brand new Compaq desktop and Windows would not recognize the USB device and installation CD would freeze our computer after not installing the driver. Creative's web site didn't have a solution, nor did the rep that came with their 60 days of free telephone support, he said the camera was faulty and to exchange it.
