Summary: Arthritis and back problems and having given my Dyson to my eldest son I wanted something lighter that still gave the same performance I had come to expect. This seemed to fit the the bill although after reading the reviews on here I wasn't sure if it would be flimsy and loud. It is neither and the suction is excelent does everything the much heavier Dyson did and I would recomend it to anyone needing a light easy to manage cleaner.
Pros: lightweight, small, powerful and has a good reach, The tool holder on back is not great as the multi tool falls off easy.
Summary: Bought this to replace our Dyson which gave several years of devoted service but gave out in the end! Attracted to this Vax model as it is much lighter and more compact. It arrived promptly and was easy to assemble and was up and running in a few minutes, feels a bit flimsy at first use but after several weeks use, I think this is a great piece of kit. (The hose has to be swapped over to use the attachments which isn't obvious from the instructions).
Summary: This is my favourite ever vacuum cleaner ever. The suction is fantastic. The cord is long enough to enable me to vaccum almost an entire floor without switching plug sockets. The head bends low enough to clean under furniture easily without having to move it. It is so lightweight. I truly have nothing bad to say about this vacuum cleaner, not found one single flaw.
Summary: I bought it as it was lightweight as I have arthritis and a right arm disability. It is lightweight but the short lead means have to change sockets which involves difficult manoeuvring but an extension lead has helped. The short hose causes a lot of discomfort. The hoover has to be taken up the stairs and held on to all the time when using the hose in case it gets dragged over. It was reasonably priced as it was reduced but I will need to buy an extension for the hose.
