Summary: I am very happy with Henry. It does seem very powerful and has been used on wooden floors and rugs and stair carpet all with success. I have only had it on full power for the stairs as I believe it would suck up the whole of a rug if I tried it on one! I have just changed from a Dyson because it never did seem to pick up as well as I had hoped.
Summary: ....our 2nd Henry's known as Henry 2 and he's every bit as good as our last. Even quieter and more apparent suction. Seems lighter and follows the vacuum head just as easily. Shame they decided to shorten the (still quite long) power cable but it is shorter.
Summary: The best suction of any vacuum cleaner I have ever had. Long cord reaches up the stairs and beyond, manual rewind better than auto, sturdy hose, bargain big bags. Not the most fashionable or compact, but well worth buying.
Summary: I was after a replacement hoover becasue the Tesco bagless 100W hoover I procured 6 months a go was utter rhubarb. I saved a few bob and thought, right Jack I am going to spend a good £100 notes on somehing decent. I nipped into Currys at lunch and a Hoover branded 1600W bagless hoover caught my eye at a solid price of £89. Not bad i thought.
