Summary: After buying multiple vacums in the past, from upright to cylinder, I have finaly found THE one. I carried out extensive investigations into all hoovers, including joining 'Which' magazine and asking numerous work colleagues and settled for the Miele S6220. The suction is AMAZING... if you have a rug, ensure someone is standing on the ends or it will be gone!!!!. Dust bag holds pleanty of dust & dirt and although a little expensive, they do hold quite an amount.
Summary: My 2nd Dyson died on me 2 weeks ago. Age and an injury made it too heavy to carry upstairs and bits of plastic have been breaking off for years. Carrying handle was cracked and I was waiting for that to break too. Decided not to buy another Dyson as not worth the money. On a recommendation from my sister- in -law I have bought this Miele and although getting it only a few days ago I am converted. Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre.
Summary: I've been fighting cat hair on my carpets for the past couple of years, and debating which hoover to buy. I've looked at dozens of reviews - Dyson, Miele, Vax, Henry etc etc - and finally decided to go for the Miele S6220. I am really pleased with it. The turbo head is a marvel on ingrained cat hair, and the other head is good for hard floors, and there are 3 tools.
Summary: Replacement for my old Miele cat and dog cleaner which gave up the ghost. This one is lighter, easier to move around and follows at heel beautifully. There are probably still too many options with brushes and settings but the silent one is good. However the upblast of air from the motor sets off my smoke alarms so I have to be careful where the machine is positioned!
Summary: I have MS, and I need to have 2 hoovers, 1 upstairs and the other downstairs. I keep checking for a Dyson as I wanted something that will last me for long time, but not only I found them a bit too expensive the general reviews for now a days Dyson were not the best. I when to the shop to have a look and the lady recommend me this one, value for price and weight. I tested there and I was quite impressed.
Summary: This was my third Miele cleaner and will probably be my last. Best word to describe using it is annoying. Build quality definately cheaper than my other cleaners, cord knots and gets tangled and is very difficult to retract. Tools no longer stored inside machine which is inconvenient. Difficult to take metal hose off to attach hand tools. Only plus is that it's lighter thank old models but that's probably because it's so cheaply made.
Summary: Expected this hoover to wipe the floor with the cheap previous hoovers we had bought. It did a great job until we found the filter kept popping and it kept losing suction. We initially thought that maybe this was due to a full bag or the filter needing cleaning, it was not. The filter did not quite seem to lock in properly and despite being sent back to the manufacturers and the filter being changed it happened again.
Summary: Have to confess being a bit of a Miele fan, even though I don't even know how to pronounce the name. This vacuum is a replacement for an almost identical one bought from John Lewis a little under 20 years ago. It has survived 2 long haired dogs, and 3 children!! Even now it is still going and has been consigned to the garage for car duties. Can,t praise this new vac enough, it is even better than the old one. The addition of the turbo head is a definite plus.
