best ever vacuum cleaner?

Sean, Woolworths
18 February 2014
  • Summary: have tried a few other vacs in the past, none have been any good at shifting cat hairs. This Miele hoover is so different i couldnt believe it. All traces of cat hairs gone, as well as every other bit of fluff and dirt.
  • Pros: Really good suction, lighter than I thought it would be and easy to maneuver, Expensive dust bags

  • Summary: Very impressed with this product which is great for hovering up the dog hair. Only downside is the clip on holder for the accessories - annoying when trying to hoover.

What a Hoover!

HGT63 , johnlewis.com
4 February 2014
  • Summary: After buying multiple vacums in the past, from upright to cylinder, I have finaly found THE one. I carried out extensive investigations into all hoovers, including joining 'Which' magazine and asking numerous work colleagues and settled for the Miele S6220. The suction is AMAZING... if you have a rug, ensure someone is standing on the ends or it will be gone!!!!. Dust bag holds pleanty of dust & dirt and although a little expensive, they do hold quite an amount.

I am delighted with my Miele

Gmac25 , johnlewis.com

  • Summary: My 2nd Dyson died on me 2 weeks ago. Age and an injury made it too heavy to carry upstairs and bits of plastic have been breaking off for years. Carrying handle was cracked and I was waiting for that to break too. Decided not to buy another Dyson as not worth the money. On a recommendation from my sister- in -law I have bought this Miele and although getting it only a few days ago I am converted. Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre.

Cat & Dog vacuum is a revelation!

HGHF , johnlewis.com
28 January 2014
  • Summary: I've been fighting cat hair on my carpets for the past couple of years, and debating which hoover to buy. I've looked at dozens of reviews - Dyson, Miele, Vax, Henry etc etc - and finally decided to go for the Miele S6220. I am really pleased with it. The turbo head is a marvel on ingrained cat hair, and the other head is good for hard floors, and there are 3 tools.

Nearly perfect!

Mrs Johnson, Debenhams
2 January 2014
  • Summary: Having purchased the slightly older model of the Cat & Dog vacuum from Miele a couple of years ago, I knew this would be a safe bet to buy for my mother. This is an overall brilliant vacuum with all the brilliant technology you would expect from Miele. The only other comments I would make would be firstly, I did not realise this was a compact version of the vacuum! As far as I can see, nowhere in the description or title does it mention this?

Improved model but...

Maisiesmum , johnlewis.com
26 November 2013
  • Summary: Replacement for my old Miele cat and dog cleaner which gave up the ghost. This one is lighter, easier to move around and follows at heel beautifully. There are probably still too many options with brushes and settings but the silent one is good. However the upblast of air from the motor sets off my smoke alarms so I have to be careful where the machine is positioned!

A Nice Surprise!

James, Woolworths
10 November 2013
  • Summary: I'm really impressed and this vacuum has surpassed my expectations. Previously owned a Dirt Devil which was really good but had a small dust container that needed emptying on a frequent basis. This is more powerful, easy to move around and compared to my last cleaner whisper quiet. Even though the bags are more expensive than other cleaners, don't let it put you off. It is well worth it.
  • Pros: Gets everything including dog & cat hair up, None
