Excerpt: Evacuum did a wonderful job of getting the order to me promptly. It is very strong at cleaning. I would like to see the head a little smaller so it can go under furniture better and also have a place on the vacuum for the carpet/floor attachments. Otherwise, am very pleased. It pulls beautifully without getting hung up on anything. Haven't figured out how to tell if the bag is full without opening canister top.
Summary: I love my first Miele vacuum! All of the extra tools fit right on the canister so they are in easy reach. It is extremely powerful and cleans my wooden floors and tile very well. The controls are foot activated, so no bending. I really like the foot activated power cord retrieval. I had an Electrolux canister for 30 years and wanted another, but replacement is $1000. So for the price of the Miele, I would definitely recommend this vacuum.
Summary: the vacuum felt like a toy... the brush for the carpet was significantly smaller than the one on my "old" vacuum; Yes it is light-weight... but just didn't feel like it would last for an extended period of time. The hose felt "flimsy" compared to my "old" vacuum... I just didn't like it.
Summary: I recently purchased this canister vacuum after years of cleaning with an Oreck Upright vacuum. This vacuum is light and so easy to use. The suction is the best!! So strong!! I use on mostly hardwood floors and low pile area carpets. Only thing I need to get used to is placement of on/off Power button. I definitely recommend this vacuum!
Summary: I've had this vacuum cleaner for three weeks. It replaced a Kenmore canister vac that I'd hoped I would have for 20 years but instead lasted only six. Frustrated, I was determined to buy quality this time around. It will be a while before I know if the Miele S2 can fulfill my expectations, but I can give you my initial impressions: 1. This vac is small. That's good and bad. It's light and easy to maneuver. It is easy to carry up the stairs.
Summary: I decided to give a Miele vacuum a try specifically because of the vacuum repair guy AMA on Reddit. I live in a small home with only one room being carpeted, but with a few rugs throughout the house. Bought this vacuum (Delphi) over the Olympus and Capri versions because its has the powered brush head which I feel is needed for any carpeting. The Titan model has features that I did not want, will go over that later.
