Excerpt: I hate cleaning windows and so when I read a positive review about the Karcher WV50 window vac some time ago I vowed to get one! However the high price tag at the time plus other calls on my finances meant the planned purchase was delayed! However just before Christmas I noticed that the widow vac had plummeted in price and was now on offer from Amazon for £40. As I already had some vouchers I decided to buy one. Whats in the box.
Summary: A wonderful invention, makes cleaning windows a pleasure. Energy and time saving, no more exhausting polishing trying to remove streaks. Going to treat myself to the narrower head fitting - make it even easier! Would highly recommend.
Summary: I initially bought this for the condensation on our bedroom window & didn't think I'd use it much other than this but its great. We have a glass shower screen & I usually have to scrub, dry & polish it to get rid of water marks but I use this after a shower & it's spotless. Our bathroom tiles are really slippy & our toddler has slipped a few times but now I just run this over the floor & it's dry.
Summary: This product definitely lives up to the reviews I read on johnlewis.com prior to purchasing. I have windows with metal frames and terrible condensation, however the WV50 really makes light work of the water, so much more effective than wiping with a cloth repeatedly. From four large panes of glass I have vacuumed 100ml of water in one session before, leaving the windows completely dry, and emptying the tank is a breeze too!
Summary: I bought this assuming it cleans and dries windows. It's actually a window vac. You still need to wet the windows and clean manually and this will then dry them. Easy to be confused with what this actually does!
