Summary: It's the second time I purchase iRobot Roomba 581. First one crashed after 1 week with an error 9. Unable to solve following instructions. This second unit crashed after 5 days, unable to recharge the battery. a 5 start to amazon regarding the management of the return and reimbursment.
Summary: Yes it's good if you want a new toy.... if you are a gadget fan you'll definately appreciate it - but its far from 'intelligent' and spends most of its time messing around under the sofa and driving around the same obstacles over and over again.
Summary: I just received my roomba 581 today and to be honest I was skeptical as to whether it would be any good or just another gadget I didn't really need and would kick myself for buying. Well, it is amazing. I am super fussy with my house and it being immaculate at all times.
Summary: Have had it for a week now and haven't used the old hoover since. Saves the time I hoped it would and actually think it cleans better on the laminates around our house than the old hoover. Well worth the investment.
Summary: The Roomba I received was faulty. A replacement battery was sent. It still didn't work. I then requested a refund. The company did not have a returns procedure in place. I was first told to take it to the Post Office. It is a bulky item and this was not easy. The Post Office rejected it.
Summary: This machine is not for longer haired dogs to be fair. Our collies' hair clogs up the brushes too easily for it to be excellent. Also realised you need to start from a reasonably clean floor for greatest efficiency. But now ....
Summary: Wow, what a fantastic product. The idea of a robot cleaner really appealed to me but I was a little dubious about its effectiveness and I bought it bassed on the positive reviews I read - I needn't have worried - it's fab-u-lous darlings!!! I've named mine Brian..
Summary: We bought one of these hoovers from Makro last year and, whilst at the beginning it was a revolution for us, it soon developed a propensity to spew its contents out of the dust collector - a process affectionally called "Roombarf" by the many reviews I then read about the problem.
