Summary: So, I've purchased this product back in 2012, it worked fine for about 18 months; I has shown some problems and I've started to chase it's manufacture (ROOMBA) in order to sort that out.. It has been gone three, four months and no solution for my problem. ROOMBA then told me advised me that SPARES-2-GO (it's seller) should sort this out.
Summary: Think it worked 3 times before it died. Took forever to charge and when I wrote to the company they were very unhelpful. It sat in my garage for 3 years and this week I decided to buy a new battery and try once more... 3 days of charging and nothing. I was unlucky and it's off to the local skip now.
Summary: does what it says on the box, great thats programmable, Pro - programable - effort less (apart from inital moving toys out of the way etc) - kids love it. - cleans minor items cons - sometimes gets stuck on objects - misses items (have to set it going twice - wont clean like a hoover - cant do the corners. - cleaning the hairs and dust a bit icky - triggers alarm I do like it, but the price was a bit expensive for what it is.
Summary: I wasn't expecting this machine to be as good as a "normal" vacuum cleaner but in many ways it's better. I have a tiled kitchen floor and the Roomba does an excellent job, even finding its way into corners with its little revolving brush. Nonetheless, one has to be realistic about its abilities. It does not pick up sweet wrappers, pen tops and other bits and pieces dropped by children as they pass through, so some judicious pre-cleaning needs to be done.
Summary: I first saw this product on the TV series Breaking Bad, Jessie, a single guy and a bit of a party animal had one. I now know why. I am single and not in the same party league as Jessie but I do hate domestic chores. I did do extensive "web" research on this product as none of my friends have ever admitted to owning one. Most comments did say do not get rid of your conventional vacuum .... true!
Summary: i have had cheaper robot hoovers, This works great and does the job. It is perfect for the laminate floors and short pile carpets it does not go back to charge when on low battery. does not like long hair.
Brilliant for large open plan house with cement floors. Great buy.

Summary: The roomba is actually better than my dyson at picking up dirt, especially fine dust. Great buy. Only negative is it is quite noisy, but no more than should be expected. Definitely get one! Don't see any reason to buy a more expensive model as this is more than enough for a very large house.
