Summary: If this had cost $100-200, I might have given it two stars. If it had cost less than $100, I might have given it three. It worked great for the first couple of months, but eventually, even with regular cleaning of the filter, it just couldn't maintain enough suction to keep the spinner heads rotating, which makes it worthless on my rugs...I don't even have carpeting! Just a few area rugs and hardwood floors.
Summary: I gave my old Dyson to my kids and got this model for my place that is all tile. It does the excellent job I expected it to do. The head & wand is a great design. Turning the brush on/off works so easy.
Summary: My husband and I were skeptical about spending $300+ on a vacuum, but we're so glad we read the reviews and took the leap. We have three cats, one is a long hair. My old upright just moved the dirt from one place to another. The first time I used my new Dyson I had to empty the bin three times! I ran it again a few days later and emptied it twice! Now I use my Dyson daily, empty the bin once and I know my floors are clean. We are believers!!!
Summary: Was in very good condition - looked new. 4 stars is more about the design of the hose, storage of the vacuum is hampered because of the hose not wrapping around the body of the vacuum as it does with some other Dyson models.
