No bags is great and I was very happy how nice it was ...

Summary: This is the a machine!!!! I can not believe what it pulled out of our carpet. I had just used my kirby which cost a ton of dough when I bought it. Then I got this unit and assembled it quickly. So I thought I would give it a try. Wow, was I impressed with how much stuff this thing pulled out of our carpet!! No bags is great and I was very happy how nice it was as a reconditioned unit!!!! it looked and ran brand new.
Summary: My Dyson slim lost suction in the wand and since I don't like pulling the wand out anyway, I ordered the canister. It does not do carpet very well but it excels on hardwood floors and tile and with the detangler attachment for pet hair it rocks. I could not register the warranty with Dyson--kept throwing me off the site and I tried calling and never got through so i gave up. It was only six months since this was refurbished. No problems other than suction on carpets.
Summary: I really hate this thing. It's hard to lug around. It's clumsy. I feel like the power of a dyson should actually vacuum...but not this one. It sucks up surface debris but beyond that forget it... Totally not worth the price and if I didn't pay $200+ I would throw it out. Worst vacuum I've ever had. Makes me think the Dyson name is just all that...a name. The product here is horrible.
Pretty Good vacuum but the head leaves quite a bit to be desired

Summary: This vacuum overall is great. Its not very heavy and in my opinion has done a better job than my past uprights that i've bought at Sears(Not too fair of a comparison being on my past 2 vaccums i've only spent around $75-80 + extended warranty). My biggest complaint is that the power head isn't that great on carpet. If I had berber it'd be perfect but anything slight more shaggy than that no dice.
Summary: If this had cost $100-200, I might have given it two stars. If it had cost less than $100, I might have given it three. It worked great for the first couple of months, but eventually, even with regular cleaning of the filter, it just couldn't maintain enough suction to keep the spinner heads rotating, which makes it worthless on my rugs...I don't even have carpeting! Just a few area rugs and hardwood floors.
Summary: The Dyson works well when it is running, but the power head has failed within 12 months of use; and that with only one carpet to clean! When it is being used the wand design feels cumbersome, a little difficult to control for someone of slight build. However, you expect things to break at some point but in less than one year? And at $100 to replace the head this is perhaps not a good choice!
