Good Clean but heavy and head too big

Stormy, Dyson Australia
7 May 2013
  • Summary: Bought this model because we have a large two story house with seven bedrooms and three lounges and my wife has allergies. It cleans in the areas you can access with it but the head and machine are two big and bulky to clean properly around furniture. My wife won't use it she says it is too heavy and hard to move. Overall a waste of money.

perfect for OCD small-apartment dweller

Melissa Harshbarger, Amazon
5 May 2013
  • Summary: I was looking for a vacuum that was easy to carry for stairs and take outside for car cleaning, powerful enough to clean pet hair and all that dirt trekked in from mountain hiking, camping or day in the woodshop, and small enough to get dust bunnies underneath furniture I can't move due to limited apartment space (tall order), and equally good on hardwood floors. Oh, and doesn't shoot out dust like most vacuums do...

Awesome Machine

Sazbow, Dyson Australia
3 May 2013
  • Summary: I had used one of these before I bought mine, and I absolutely love it! If you think you have clean carpets, think again, you'll be amazed at what the Dyson will pick up. I love that I can see the dirt in the barrel and I know it's doing the job. Great for picking up animal hair. A durable, well built machine and well designed with the stowaway feature and a place for the motor head, all nice and compact. Extremely happy with my purchase!!!

Amazing

LisaC, Dyson Australia

  • Summary: Having had previous vacuum cleaners, Dyson machines are far superior. You never have to go over the same piece of carpet twice and unlike others, when you round a corner the machine doesn't fall over....

DC23 Motorhead

Dadee, Dyson Australia
28 April 2013
  • Summary: This is improvement over its predecessor (e.g., greater suction, ease of emptying the bin) but is still not worth the very high sticker price. It's difficult to manoeuvre around corners and the flexible hose tends to kink. The on/off button is awkwardly sited. I regret having bought this but my old machine was worn out to the point of uselessness.

Fab

Madigans, Dyson Australia

  • Summary: I bought this on a friend recommendation and I must say it has exceeded all of my expectations. I have since bought the handheld dyson as well and together they are great for a larger house with three kids under 5! It does all it promises and more. I am always horrified at the amount of yukky stuff that comes out of the floor and carpet every time you vacuum and you are left with a feeling that it is clean.
