  • Summary: This machine sucks like no other !! we just came home with it and my wife won't put it down lol!! You can actually see everything getting sucked up ,stuff our other vacuum did not even come close to picking up.I was a little skeptical like how much better can it possibly be than the other brands ?all my concerns have been put to rest !the Dyson costs more but it's worth every penny ! Remember happy wife happy life!

DC23 good but heavy

BCD1, Dyson Australia
28 January 2013
  • Summary: So far there has been good results with performance. My only criticism for this product is the weight and ackward centre of gravity when coiled up and carrying. I hope Dyson will address this issue. If I could return and exchange for a lighter product to do the same job now, I would. BCD.

Love the Dyson

Eggy, Dyson Australia

  • Summary: I love the Dyson, and the motorhead, I cant believe how much dust it gets out of the carpet EVERY time I vaccum. The only thing I dont like is how long the filter takes to dry when you wash, it and that I cannot just buy an extra one where I bought my vacuum.

Luv it Luv It Luv it

  • Summary: I previously had a Rainbow - you know the water filter vacuum cleaner, and I loved it - I had it for about 20 year and it never missed a beat, but old age was getting to it and suction wasn't quite as good. All my friends have Dyson's and so I thought I'd give it a go. I can't tell you how I just love my new vacuum. Its much easier to user than my rainbow - no water to add, or gunk to dispose of, its all in one convenient easy to use package.

Excellent!

  • Excerpt: Dyson really makes a top-quality product. This is my second Dyson--my wife and I have a full-size Animal for our downstairs, and because it's so heavy and we have an enormous staircase, it eventually became very convenient to have a separate vacuum for the second floor. We have two dogs and two cats, so suction power is important, and this gets the job done.

  • Summary: We've only had this machine two weeks and can't beleive how much cleaner our carpets and hardwood looks. It is so easy to get around the house with it and on stairs. My wife loves it.

What a beast!

Meik, Dyson Australia

  • Summary: This vacuum is fantastic! I thought my 3 year old Wertheim was pretty good until I used the DC23 for the first time.......WOW, what a beast! We were amazed at the amount of dirt it picked up from our already visably clean floors (I had vacuumed the day before). The carpet pile stands up better now because of the motorhead and two people have asked me if we've had the carpets steam cleaned.

  • Summary: I like the Dyson and it works well. I have a lot of cats that continue to make hair. The unit is easy to set up, easy to use, and it really gets the job done.

DC23 Motorhead Vacuum Cleaner

JennyK, Dyson Australia
2 January 2013
  • Summary: I am really disappointed in this machine. Heavy to pull around and the angle on the basic head does not allow it to sit flush on the floor unless your arm is down low. Very awkward. As a woman that uses a vacuum cleaner every day I cannot appreciate the heaviness of this and the awkward pull out tubing. One cannot attach a nozzle directly to the end of the hose to get into the tracks of the windows and give me my old 8 year old Dyson any day.
