Summary: I took delivery of all these items within the stipulated times, the only item I was not pleased with was the solar water wishing well as we had to send it back a record of three times where the screws that held everything together were not lining up with the holes they were supposed to screw in as these were either too deep for the screws to reach or drilled in the wrong place, when I contacted the people responsible for delivering these items I was told that they import...
Summary: We've had this machine for about 10 years now and its still doing as good a job as it did when we first bought it. Granted I have washed the pre-filters many times and brushed out the cyclone and bin a few times too. But with basic occasional maintenance like this it has continued to work as it did when we first bought it. It is not the lightest machine and I prefer my workshop vacuum cleaner for cleaning the car.
Summary: I have been a dyson fan for many years, but this is my last machine. It is cheap and flimsy and does not do the job. With my old dysons I could feel them sucking the carpet. This one just skates across it despite me poking out the holes in the turbo. The nozzle tool does not fit well and is angled which prevents it fitting in small spaces.
Dyson DC14 All floors Upright Vacuum Cleaner Silver/White
16 October 2013
Summary: I was a bit dubious about purchasing a refurbished vacuum cleaner, but my fears were unfounded. Apart from the expected scuffs here and there( which were hardly noticeable) the vacuum performs as if was a new one. First time the wife's judgement has got the better of me.
Summary: Dysons are not the only vacuum! As other reviewers have rightly said this machine has a LOUD high pitched whine which makes the sound of fingernails on a blackboard fade into insignificance. Customer service have even admitted this is common with the Dyson (sound and vibration technology is not James Dyson's forte). If an employer were to direct a member of staff to use this machine health and safety legislation would probably dictate ear protection.
Summary: I am so disappointed as after using the Hoover only a few times there was a loud bang & it cut out.last week I left it with my local repair shop to check it out & received a call yesterday to say the motor has gone & as well as having to pay 15 pounds for them to look at it will also cost at least 85pds to fix!!!!
Summary: I had a Sebo for many years, when I finally needed to replace it I was going to buy another but was persuaded to be the Dyson by a very able saleman. I absolutely loathe it. The suction is excellent, and that is the only good thing to say. When emptying it it is easy to gat a face full of dust. It doesn't do edges and is very thick at the front, not suitable for going under many items. The different heads for the tube fall off very easily.
Summary: Purchsed this vac after my previous one blew up. Very plsed with it, well worth the money that it is. I have a mix of carpet and wood floors and this is great on both. It is easy to empty and operate and not too heavy for carrying upstairs Def recommend!
Summary: This is the second Dyson we have bought. First we had a DC01,but the wheels broken off this after a couple of years use. I know of others who have bought who have alsso had the same fault. It appears to be a weakness in the design of the load bearing centre of the wheel. Then we bought a DC14 and after a couple of years the mains flex has broken at the grommit where it enters the machine.
