The Aten FH600 is a 6-port FireWire hub with power adapter. Its features are hot plugging and Plug and Play (PnP) capable.

Features

FireWire provides the physical structure for hassle free, inexpensive, Plug and Play networking. It is suitable for the Small Office/Home Office environment. The Aten FH600 is a FireWire hub. It is compliant with IEEE1394. It provides six 1394a compliant ports that can support data transfer rate at 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps and 400 Mbps. When a peripheral connects to it, it automatically switches to the highest speed that the peripheral supports. It provides automatic configuration in which user does not need to specify memory addresses, IRQ assignments, device IDs, and plug in terminators. Furthermore, it supports hot plugging feature, where the peripherals can be hot swapped. By having this feature, adding and removing of peripherals can be done without having to reset the system. It is equipped with 6 pin IEEE 1394 I/O connectors and a DC input terminal for optional external power supply as well. It supports for Windows® 98, 98SE, 2000, ME, XP, Mac OS X or greater operating system. It has a plastic housing. It measures 9.22 x 9.14 x 3.33 cm in dimension and weighs 110 g. It comes together with one IEEE 1394 cable, one power adapter and one user manual.
