Sony KDL-40W4000

The Sony KDL-40W4000 has been launched at the end of 2007. The aim was to replace the earlier W3000 range. This model is also cheaper as compared to its predecessor. Sony planned to launch a LCD that will have a high picture quality and will also be user-friendly. Sony KDL-40W4000 is the outcome of it.

The Sony KDL-40W4000 possesses a 6.2 mega pixel resolution. It has got a unique Picture Frame Mode that helps in turning it into a digital picture frame when the TV is switched off. You can either display images of your choice or use any of the six pre-installed images. The USB Photo Viewer allows you to view the digital photographs. It comes with x.v.Color on the 10-Bit LCD panel that makes the picture quality absolutely natural and vibrant. The Advanced Contrast Enhancer gives a superb picture with clear and defined view. It has got a Midnight Sky finish. It also has a digital cable tuner as well as digital terrestrial tuner; former being for watching cable television and the later for watching digital television. The three HDMI™ inputs enables to easily link it up to the HD sources like Playstation®3 and Blu-ray Disc™ players. It has a simple menu interface that makes it easy to use.
