When it comes to high-definition, the Sony KDL-40V3000 TV is the full HD 1920 x 1080 panel resolution with over 2 million pixels that is all needed to reproduce the 1080p content that can be delivered to the cutting edge 1080p Blu-ray disc player. Hdtv-news.co.uk quoted that by working with BRAVIA Engine EX, everything from standard definition to high definition is converted to 1080p for a self-experiencing picture. The Bravia Engine EX processor produces outstanding visuals with colors as deep and rich, and contrast as sharp, as virtually any LCD on the market today. Sony’s Advanced Contrast Enhancer builds on the excellent on-contrast ratio performance of 1600:1. Designed for maximum versatility, Sony’s BRAVIA V-Series LCD TVs are equipped with three HDMI 1080/60p inputs. The S-Force Front Surround enhancement function generates realistic surround sound from the two speakers in the TV that would satisfy every user. The auto-dimming becomes nearly black when the content on screen is dark and even produces some low-level motion smearing especially if the source is poor.
