Recently moved into a larger property and felt my current Pioneer 50" plasma was lacking in the whole cinema experience due to its size. Was initially attracted to the Samsungs price tag £999 for such a large screen but expected a slight loss in picture quality due to its size over my Pioneer. How wrong was I as the picture quality was mind blowing when playing The Two Towers on Bluray through it. It actually seemed like I was seeing it in 3d as the image was so perfect. In fact this may seem a little strange but it was actually too perfect in that it picked out all the flaws in films and actually made them less believable. Its hard to explain exactly what I mean unles you see it for yourself but its almost too realistic.
If you are looking for a big screen tv with amasing picture quality then you need look no further. Only tip is use the Thx set up menu at the start of any Star wars dvd to get all the screen settings bang on. Worth the 10 mins it takes o know the screen is set up perfectly then just sit back in amazement asci did and enjoy.
