Summary: got this tv 2 years ago the screen is failing, getting dark shadows coming down front the top of the screen worse on light colours I would hope a tv would last longer than that without falts will not buy Samsung again
Summary: Best TV I've had. Picture quality in HD is amazing especially for watching the football. If anyone is looking at TVs I recommend this. Links up to your router but you have to buy a LAN adapter, apart from that can't fault it.
Summary: I bought this TV early last month (Jan 2013) and am delighted with it. The picture quality is superb once adjusted from the default factory settings -- more on that in a moment. The sound levels likewise are very good and in no need of enhancing with a soundbar or the like. The built in Freeview HD menu system is excellent and the Smart functions work very well too.
Excerpt: The minute you open the box and see the finish quality of the tv itself. As soon as I saw this I hoped that the picture quality would match.......unfortunately it did not, it was far better than I imagined. I plugged in the arial and followed the on screen instructions, 60 seconds later I had a fully tuned, fully functioning tv. The fist channel I switched to was BBC HD and to try and describe the crisp image and rich colours is pointless.
Summary: I have had a good few months with this T.V now so feel i can give a good review! First of all its brilliant to look at straight out the box, the Charcoal Black with the glass surrounding an it been so sleek an thin just makes it look more than what you actually paid for it. Under the hood its an awesome piece of kit, colours are great and features are the best around this price range.
Summary: My only very slight disappointment with this television is how quickly the colour washes out of the pictures when you move from watching it dead on. Not a major issue and something I think most LCD TVs are guilty of. I've been used to a plasma TV so wasn't expecting quite the same quality but compared to my last non LED LCD TV a few years ago this is light years ahead. Reasonable sound from the standard speakers with a bit of adjustment - better than some I've heard.
Summary: An excellent television in all respects, bar one. The sound is inclined to grate with certain people's voices, and the bass is inadequate. I tried all the different settings but none were satisfactory. Here's a brilliant solution. I purchased a set of Logitech OEM S220 2.1 speakers. What a difference, and for less than £20! They are really small and sit behind the TV with the sub woofer inside the cabinet.
Summary: I have had this TV a few months now, and I find the picture quality to be excellent! Finding a new TV is a nightmare these days, and I spent many hours researching it. The only downside to this TV is the sound...I know speakers and small volumes don't go together but I did think (hoped) Samsung may have had some wizardry to get around this...sadly they don't! The sound resonates when watching some programs, and none of the settings seem to help.
