The Samsung LE40B530 is a 40-inch Full HD LCD TV that has a 1080p ready technology with 1920-by-1080-pixels and a contrast ratio of up to 500:1, Samsung’s DNIe Pro, 24p Real Movie and Movie plus technology (for smooth action picture), equipped with Wide Colour Enhancer 2 technology, built-in Freeview and radio stations; picture in picture (PIP) function and uses A2 / NiCAM plus the SRS Trusurround Sound effect and Dolby Digital Plus system with high quality sound. The LE40B530 has a glossy black bezel enclosure and Clear Panel screen to provide images in any lighting that are much clearer with less reflection and glare.

The Samsung LE40B530 has a 40-inch Full HD LCD TV 1080p ready technology with 1920-by-1080-pixels combines with a dynamic backlight system with proprietary filters built into the screen to deliver high contrast ratios of up to 500:1. It is also equipped with Movie Plus system that provides extra frames to the image while its picture processing comes from the latest incarnation of Samsung’s Digital Natural Image engine processing called the DNIe Pro which provides a more enhanced processing that can boost its black levels, detail levels, colour response and also handling any types of motion. The Samsung LE40B530 also includes three HDMI inputs Digital Link for superb digital pictures and sound plus one SCART socket that makes it easier to connect (up 1080p/24 feeds) to devices with High Definition like Blu-ray Disc and PLAYSTATION3. The Samsung LE40B530 measures at 998mm in width, 620.8mm in height and 78.4mm in depth (without stand) and 998mm in width, 686mm in height and 260.1mm in depth (with stand).
