Features

The Nad C720BEE is a stereo amplifier that produces 50 watts x 2 continous power into 8 ohms. It comes featured with PowerDrive. It also features an AM/FM Tuner with 30 preset stations, and in addition to this it has RDS data service for FM. Besides this, it has multisource zone 2 with independent line level output. The amplifier allows switching between Speaker A and B. A full system of remote control is presented in this amplifier. It also includes headphones sockets, relay input switching, toroidal power transformer. Seven line inputs are included. The circuitry is all discrete and it uses Class A gain modules. The signal path is short from input to output. Its also features gold plated sockets. Some of its other features include tone controls defeat switch, main-amp input and pre-amp output, subwoofer output, soft-clipping, IR in out and 12 volt trigger output.

    It’s awfull y eas y to get spoiled in this industr y. Gear that I could not possibly afford is dropped at my door, and for a brief window of time I live under the illusion that my champagne-and-caviar dreams have materialized. Such was the case when I reviewed NAD’s Master Series M3 integrated amplifier in Issue 163—a superb effort that I only grudgingly relinquished. But NAD didn’t leave me empty-handed for long.
