The Harman/Kardon HK 980 is an integrated stereo amplifies that allows connections to its output to provide stereo sound system via its playback feature. It has 2 x 80 watts, and 80 Ohms. The frequency response is 10Hz-100kHz, its harmonic distortion is less than 0.07%. The Harman/Kardon HK 980 produces sound characteristics that are in consistent accuracy and phase linear. Its high-current capaibilty of up to 80 Amps, which supplies the output that is needed for precise actuation and ctonrl that is accurate. The A/B loudspeaker switch is included, together with its six analog audio inputs, preamp outputs for connection to external power amplifiers, and high quality connections for cable diameters up to 10mm2. The inclusion of its phono-input allows playing vinyl records when its connected to MM pick up system. The Harman/Kardon HK 980’s remote control enables users to operate it with other Harman Kardon’s components including its CD players.
