Auzentech Auzen X-Fi Prelude 7.1

The Auzentech Auzen X-Fi Prelude 7.1 is a Third-Party Soundcard Custom-Engineered around the X-Fi chipset from Creative with 24-bit Analog-to-Digital conversion of analog inputs at 96kHz sample rate, 24-bit Digital-to-Analog conversion of digital sources at 96kHz to analog 7.1 speaker output and 24-bit Digital-to-Analog conversion of stereo digital sources at 192kHz to stereo output. It has 16-bit to 24-bit recording sampling rates: 32, 44.1, 48 and 96kHz and ASIO 2.0 support at 16-bit/44.1kHz, 16-bit/48kHz, 24-bit/44.1kHz 24-bit/48kHz and 24-bit/96kHz with direct monitoring. The sound card has enhanced SoundFont support of up to 24-bit resolution, and 64 MB of X-RAM. Connectivity is via rear panel connectors for microphone, line input, channel line output, S/PDIF input and output, front panel connectors for MIC input and headphone, on-board connectors for AUX and digital extension header, and swappable OPAMP Socket (Front L/R only).

The Auzentech Auzen X-Fi Prelude 7.1 utilises the Creative X-FI™ chipset in its own soundcard design. The Auzen X-Fi Prelude 7.1 soundcard fully supports EAX 5.0 and has expandability similar to that of the Auzen X-Meridian™ 7.1. Additional features such as Dolby® Digital Live, DTS® Interactive, and DTS NeoPC™ are available via driver updates. It features EAX® sound card technology of Creative Labs for 3D soundscape during gameplay; Dolby® Digital Live which is available for XP and VIsta via the latest free driver update for real-time encoding technology that converts any audio signal into a Dolby Digital bitstream for transport and playback through a home theater system; DTS® Interactive that re-encodes stereo or multi-channel audio into DTS audio and delivers it over a single coaxial or optical connection to DTS enabled system, such as powered PC multi-channel speakers, an Audio Visual surround receiver, or a surround sound decoder; X-Fi® for audio processing engine that boosts real game performance by more than 15%; and X-Fi Crystalizer technology that restores the detail and vibrance to compressed music and movies. It also features X-Fi CMSS-3D technology that expands stereo MP3s and digital movies into surround sound over multichannel speakers, stereo speakers or even headphones.
