Philips Shaver

Twiggy, Amazon
26 October 2012
  • Summary: I bought this Shaver as it was on offer after years of using blades. I'd become fed up with the cost of replacing them. As a first time user I really like this Shaver. It works best in the shower, and when I go to the gym I find it fantastic. Early days but the battery seems pretty good as well. Would definately recommend it if you are looking to replace you shaver or try and electric one.

First Electric for over 20 years

Maidstone,Kent, Amazon
26 October 2012
  • Summary: I was apprehensive about buying an electric razor ,the last time I had one would be over 20 yers ago and that was a disaster . I read in which Magazine the report on this razor and they rated the product . I have it it three weks now and finding it gives me a good, clean, comfortable shave, just as good as a wet one .So far only charged it once .

WHAT A SHAVER....

deepaktheguru, Amazon
24 October 2012
  • Summary: I have been quite hesitant to buy one of these electric shavers for the fact i heard they dont give a close and good shave as a razor.. But seeing that this one can be used dry and wet made me want to give a try and i have to say i am definitely impressed.. Gives as good shave as a real razor with less damage to skin and no cuts or anything of those sort.. Also the trimmer makes sharp side locks so for me its bye bye to the foam and shaving kit..

Much better than a razor

Anonymous, Boots
23 October 2012
  • Excerpt: My boyfriend bought this a couple weeks ago because he was frustrated of not getting a close enough shave with a normal razor, and he's a lot happier with this product. The reason it's not 5/5 is because sometimes it doesn't cut properly but it's still a very good product.

Razor sharp

John, Amazon
20 October 2012
  • Summary: I have always been a Philishave person, so when my wife dropped my razor and smashed the head I did not hesitate to buy another. The AT809/17 was chosen because of its wet and dry capability and it is cordless. This shaver is light, easy to clean, quick to recharge and provides me with an excellent shave with minimal effort. I can not tell you how long it will run on one charge because I have not had the need to recharge it yet.

Excellent shaver for the price

El Rapide, Amazon
18 October 2012
  • Summary: I needed to replace my foil shaver so looked on the Which? website and this came up as the cheapest of their best buys. It is the best shaver I've ever had, I wish I'd switched from foil to rotary years ago. It gives me a much closer shave than my previous foil one, is much quieter in comparison, holds its charge for ages and is very easy to clean. The sideburn trimmer feels a little flimsy but does what I require of it. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone.

Awesome shaver

Gratabb, Amazon
13 October 2012
  • Summary: This shaver has very good reviews but I was still skeptical having paid £160 for a Phillips shaver a few years ago and being a bit disappointed, as it struggled with longer hairs especially on the neck. i tried a Remington for a few years and found it rubbish although a cheap one, when it went wrong I decided to try another Phillips. Even though this had such good reviews my expectations were average due to my experience with the £160 one.
