Excerpt: I have used Philishave shavers for nearly 50 years and this is the best yet!
I charged it up on the 24th May and didn't need to recharge it until 17th June - and not just using it every day but using it twice a day for 12 days on holiday. And all this on a a 1 hour charge!
Summary: After researching wet and dry shavers I settled on the Phillips because of its versatility, the reputation of the manufacturer and price. I enjoyed a month of really close shaves and found the Aquatouch easy to clean. Battery life was good too - around two weeks between shaves.
Summary: I have always used electric shavers because of rash issues. Up to now I have only used foil type shavers, mainly Braun. I had tried Philips in the past, but found them less effective than foil when using as a dry shaver.
Summary: I have been very pleased with the quality of the shave, feel of the razor and charge holding capacity - lasted for 2 weeks between charges. But... the rechargeable battery they use is non standard, very difficult to replace other than by Phillips (at the cost of a replacement shaver)and only lasts...
Summary: This is undoubtedly the best electric razor I have owned. To be able to use it in the shower is a real pleasure and gives an extremely close shave. In addition, the battery life between charges is the best of any electric razor I have ever used in 55 years of electric shaving.
Summary: Having used Foil (Braun) shavers for years I fancied a change. I have a habit of not shaving over the weekend and, having dark strong stubble, had a major (often painful) chore on a Monday morning. The idea of a choice of wet shaving therefore added to the attraction.
Summary: I recently bought a Panasonic foil shaver and it was awful, returned it immediately. I decided to dip my toes in the electric shaver market again but this time with this rotary shaver. And, I must say, this is considerably better.
Poor design and poor build quality. Buy this if you want to just stroke your face and not get a shave.

Summary: This thing is a complete dog. I bought one to replace my old 3-head Phillips shaver, which had given me reasonable service for years. But it didn't shave me at all - the head would just glide over my face, and nothing happened!
