Summary: I bought this product because i needed an alternative to many years of wet shaving, this is a stylish easy to use shaver with the bonus of the philips name, i particularly like the fact that you can use this product for wet shaving using your favourite gel or foam and that it is easy to clean, it looks great and is comfortable to hold and use, all in all i would recommend it.
Excellent product, many shaves between battery recharge

Summary: I had a Phillishave for many years and appreciated the floating three shaving heads design. Because of the shave quality, reliability and, in my case, durability of my old one I have automatically bought another Philips and continue to be pleased, I'm surprised by how many shaves are possible between charges.
Summary: Philips AT890/17 continues the return to form of the AT890, a well made shaver that gives a good close shave wet or dry, quick charging, easy clean and maintenance, comfortable in the hand, and a sensible, simple charging lead that means it all just pops into a washbag when travelling.
Summary: I used to have a simple cheap foil shaver but when the cost of replacing the head was going to be more than half the original cost every 6 months i decided it might be time for an upgrade and this was well worth it. A few points: It seems to work very well, i get a nice clean shave that does me well till the next morning when i use it.
Summary: I have a strong (grey now!) beard which grows in multiple directions. I have always had to shave up, down, sideways and any other direction one can think of. Several years ago I had an original Philishave which was adequate, but it had long been discarded in favour of Gillette Fusion system. This always gave good results, but with the ever increasing costs of blades, I have tried supermarket's own label and King of Shaves, with pretty poor results.
Summary: First off, I have very sensitive skin. If you do too, read this review. **For those with short attention spans, if you have sensitive skin and you are on the fence about buying an electric shaver then just buy it. There is a learning curve, however it a great shave.** Using a new 3-4 bladed razor was my only option to prevent awful skin burn and irritation spots.
Summary: This is my first review of an electric or electronic product because they usually do what it says on the tin. However, this one is different because the quality of a shave is somewhat subjective. The last time I bought an electric shaver was about 20 years ago and it was a dry shaver. I always felt "unclean" after shaving because of the lack of a close shave, and I reverted to wet shaving. This product could not be more different.
