Summary: My boyfriend bought this a couple weeks ago because he was frustrated of not getting a close enough shave with a normal razor, and he's a lot happier with this product. The reason it's not 5/5 is because sometimes it doesn't cut properly but it's still a very good product.
Summary: I have always been a Philishave person, so when my wife dropped my razor and smashed the head I did not hesitate to buy another. The AT809/17 was chosen because of its wet and dry capability and it is cordless. This shaver is light, easy to clean, quick to recharge and provides me with an excellent shave with minimal effort. I can not tell you how long it will run on one charge because I have not had the need to recharge it yet.
Summary: I needed to replace my foil shaver so looked on the Which? website and this came up as the cheapest of their best buys. It is the best shaver I've ever had, I wish I'd switched from foil to rotary years ago. It gives me a much closer shave than my previous foil one, is much quieter in comparison, holds its charge for ages and is very easy to clean. The sideburn trimmer feels a little flimsy but does what I require of it. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone.
Summary: My girlfriend recommended me this to make my beard cleaner, because she hated the roughness. I was sceptical at first - always believed for whatever reason it'd never be as close a shaver as a manual razor... this is true if you go against the grain maybe... but it rips your face apart, so I always shaved with the grain with manual. Long story short - this electric will give you a shave almost as good as a manual razor that goes against the grain...
Summary: This shaver has very good reviews but I was still skeptical having paid £160 for a Phillips shaver a few years ago and being a bit disappointed, as it struggled with longer hairs especially on the neck. i tried a Remington for a few years and found it rubbish although a cheap one, when it went wrong I decided to try another Phillips. Even though this had such good reviews my expectations were average due to my experience with the £160 one.
Not quite the best thing since sliced bread... i.e., don't throw away your blades just yet!

Summary: UPDATE: Firstly, I have had much better results on my second attempt, but I truly feel that this due to my having much shorter stubble. Now, I feel that it's fair that I update my review below to say this - with only 2 days of stubble you should also see very good results with this shaver, provided you shave with foam using careful circular movements.
Summary: I've always heard negative things about electric razors but since discovering there were now electric razors available that you can buy and use with water, my interest was piqued. I went online to try and find the highest rated and the aquatouch seemed to be it. Being a wet shaver for the past 15 years or so I was keen to see how an electric razor-wet or dry, would compare. In a word, it doesn't.
Summary: Bought this shaver as a gift for my husband, forgetting that he has always been a strong critic of Philips shavers (mainly because he worked for a competitor). I thought that I would have to return and he was even reluctant to take it out the box. He eventually put it on charge and amazed himself on how close a have he received! Stating that it has been the best shave for many a year!!
