Summary: When I saw this product advertised as wet & dry electric shaver, I thought no way, the two just dont mix, well I was partly right because in fact the electrical parts are in a waterproof container and they never meet each other. However the efficiency of the razor both wet & dry is superb, the wet option being the best but both are fine, also the speed at which it charges are a great improvement on my old dry razor,so far I can find nothing to complain about this...
Excerpt: I am very happy with the purchase (I was unsure what the differance was between the Philips AquaTouch AT890 and the AT890/17 was and found out from Phillips that they are the same, only where they are manufactured)
Summary: My husband had bought another well named brand razor a few months before he lost patience with it and went back to PHILIPS and was well pleased with this model. Does everything it says on the box and perfect result with a dry shave. He no longer looks like The Right Reverend Rowan Williams and definitely more of a smooth operator. Thanks AMAZON for speedy delivery.
Summary: This is the second wet/dry shaver I have used, the first and more expensive a Panasonic which I though was quite good in the wet mode but not so efficient in the dry, even after using a talc as a lubricant on the face. Also the rechargeable battery only lasted, with full charge, a matter of four days.
Summary: Bought for a relative with a partiall disability in his arm that likes a wet shave. The rubber grip is perfect for him to be able to shave himself and he is very pleased with the overall shave compared to the the traditional multiblade wet shave he used to struggle with.
Summary: I bought this Shaver as it was on offer after years of using blades. I'd become fed up with the cost of replacing them. As a first time user I really like this Shaver. It works best in the shower, and when I go to the gym I find it fantastic. Early days but the battery seems pretty good as well. Would definately recommend it if you are looking to replace you shaver or try and electric one.
