Summary: After using the razor successfully for several months with no problems,I opened it up to wash out the surplus shave gel, under the tap.Imagine my surprise when the interior parts fell out into the sink.Try as I may (several times)I am unable to get them to fit correctly in order to get the shaver to function as before.Result--a useless piece of kit.Needless to say I am back to wet razor shaving.Gillette Mach3 3-Phillips Aquatouch 0!
I have acne problems and it just glides over spots
2 April 2012
Summary: Exactly what the title says. I am 17 with acne (I am taking medication for it) and it literally "glides" over them and as long as you make smooth circular movements with shave gel/foam/etc., even the most sensitive areas can be shaved. It moulds around your face with the 3 things on top and you don't have to push at all and let it glide by itself over your face and neck, etc.
Summary: When my trusty Philips HQ7830 finally decided, after many years of faithful service, to leave for that great depilatory home in the sky, I thought I'd take another swing at wet shaving. The choice was numbing... nay boggling, should I choose 2 blades... 3 blades... 5 blades... whoa, 7! BLADES vibrating !!. Plumped for 5 blades (no batteries), extra extra sensitive gel - blue that is - paid the shops electric bill for the next 2 months at the cashout... How Much?
Summary: After wet shaving for a lifetime this appealed as I have been giving myself too many 'nicks' of late. Difficult to 'adapt' to using it wet with foam and putting it under a running tap - this is not supposed to be done with an electric razor! It does however work well and gives good results which I am sure will improve as I get more accustomed to it. YES it should have a stand to keep it upright on the window ledge, and then it would get 5 stars for design.
Summary: Ive never owned or used an electric shaver before and bought one of these shavers so i could have a quick shave if ever i was running a little late or whatever. But this thing feels like it plucks the hairs straight out of your face, and you have to keep going over and over the same spot as it seems to miss the hairs and just cause pain. Its faster and easier to use the flip out attachment thats meant to be for your sideburns all over your face.
Summary: I've owned many shavers in my life, some rotary and some foil. I have a thick beard. This one shaves me, but I have to do many repeated passes and it leaves me raw, with shaving rash and ingrown hairs! Sending it back.
Summary: i was rather disappointed when i opened this product to find that it was actually fitted with a European plug which meant that i could not use it until i took it back to the retailer and they gave me an adaptor.
