Summary: I bought this shaver a few months back, read all the instructions but could get no where near a clean shave. Instead i managed a dodgy shave which i had to revert back to the razor blade to finish.I am checking the return policy.
Summary: Previously had Philps for over 10 years so went with Philips again and so far not dissapointed. Product lighter than previous model but does a very good job. Used every day, holds a good charge. Would recommend.
Summary: After using the razor successfully for several months with no problems,I opened it up to wash out the surplus shave gel, under the tap.Imagine my surprise when the interior parts fell out into the sink.Try as I may (several times)I am unable to get them to fit correctly in order to get the shaver to function as before.Result--a useless piece of kit.Needless to say I am back to wet razor shaving.Gillette Mach3 3-Phillips Aquatouch 0!
Summary: I bought this for my husband who likes to wet shave but generally finds plain old razor blades to harsh on his skin. He likes the ease of using it in the shower or not, and with or without the foam. His only gripe is that it can get a bit messy with water and shaving foam everywhere, and it took a while to get used to.
Summary: I really don't understand the Which Best Buy on this item. I have used this shaver for over a month both wet and dry and find that compared to my previous Braun Syncron it is slow and difficult to get a thorough close shave, battery life between charges is reasonable but not good, the trimmer performs poorly. The shaver feels ratther flimsy and unlikely to last much beyond the 2 year warranty, and the cost of replacement heads is ridiculous anyway.
Summary: After 3 weeks daily use the shaver has not run out of power from its first charging. It works well dry or with shave foam or gel and results are good. Cleaning needs only a rinse under the tap but the shaving head and trimmer need to be left open to dry effectively. All in all an excellent replacement for my traditional wet shave.
I have acne problems and it just glides over spots
2 April 2012
Summary: Exactly what the title says. I am 17 with acne (I am taking medication for it) and it literally "glides" over them and as long as you make smooth circular movements with shave gel/foam/etc., even the most sensitive areas can be shaved. It moulds around your face with the 3 things on top and you don't have to push at all and let it glide by itself over your face and neck, etc.
Summary: When my trusty Philips HQ7830 finally decided, after many years of faithful service, to leave for that great depilatory home in the sky, I thought I'd take another swing at wet shaving. The choice was numbing... nay boggling, should I choose 2 blades... 3 blades... 5 blades... whoa, 7! BLADES vibrating !!. Plumped for 5 blades (no batteries), extra extra sensitive gel - blue that is - paid the shops electric bill for the next 2 months at the cashout... How Much?
