Summary: Set up disk not readable in computer. Rang helpline for replacement disk and spent over 20 minutes talking to someone in the Philippines who was more interested in getting my details for registration than dealing with my problem, saying that the guarantee was out of date, although I had only taken delivery that day. I rang Maplins, the supplier, who could not supply me with a replacement disk, so I returned the produce and got a full refund.
Summary: My modem/router was dropping out continually so I bought a TP Link modem and this router. They were so simple to set up, just plugged it all in and set the passwords etc; job done. It really couldn't have been simpler. I now have excellent coverage and no dropping out. I bought a Netgear Extender as well. Even easier to set up.
Summary: This is old news, buy a newer model like the rangemax dg834pn. The antenna broke fairly early on but it still worked ok-ish with a loose antenna. Range was average & seemed to drop connection alot, but you never know if its the isp or the router. The newer rangrmax model has slightly better range.
Summary: This product was delivered the day after dispatch. An excellent item which seems to be doing the job really well. I'm not technical and didn't understand a lot of the indepth reveiws but basically we needed a router that worked for internet without a phoneline and this does! Its also smaller and more discreet than I expected. Very happy so far.
