Failed After 12 months, replaced and failed again.

Summary: I'm just looking for an alternative to replace this switch. I have already had one fail and it looks like this one is dying too now. I don't want to bash Netgear stuff it's usually very good. Unfortunately this switch has lasted about 12 months before it starts to throw up problems.
Summary: My other switch went down so did a quick search and decided on this one, partly for Prime delivery which came the next day, Saturday. Plugged in switched on and up came the green and orange lights. Green for Gigabit connection.
Summary: This is my third Netgear Gigibit switch. All continue to work faultlessly on a busy office network with Macs, Windows PCs and various Android and iOS tablets. There is little or no effort required - just plug in and they work.
Summary: I bought this to replace an older switch. All I had to do was un-box the new Netgear GS608 switch, plug the LAN cables in and finally the power cable and everything worked. I haven't had to touch it since purchase (April 2014).
Summary: Have always used netgear routers without an issue and for a year or so had no issue with this hub. Plug and play, auto sensing worked fine. Mine is completly populated with printers, hard drives etc. Began to have a periodic connectivity issues which a power off/on seemed to sort out.
