Summary: The worst router ever! I got it from my network provider (Virgin Media). The device is terrible. It crashes, drops the wifi connections (it definitely doesn't like skype), sometimes disappears from the list of available wifi networks to re-appear a few minutes later like nothing happened. Transfer speeds depend on the moon phases. The firmware is really bad too - it doesn't even know what devices are connected to it... What is good about the device?
Summary: I've written this review to answer a question which I could not get an honest answer to: I cannot connect ANY Blackberry device to this Router. Netgears answer, try this, try that. It's Blackberry or Vodafone or Virgin or O2s fault. Carriers answer: Try this, try that, It's Blackberrys fault. Blackberrys answer: ..........................................................................They didn't bother to..
Summary: I purchased this Router from Maplin Web Deals, I wanted a vertical standing router which saves space also the router details say it has powerfull internal antennas The Router I recieved was a flat horizontal one with a external antenna, when I contacted Maplin they said that Netgear dont make a Vertical standing Router in this model.
Summary: This router was to replace a very old one made by a company that no longer exists. I had to request support from Netgear to correctly configure the router. They were most helpful, and the router is now working well, I use both Ethernet and wireless to connect 2 PCs and an ebook. Note that if you buy a new router, and have Internet connection problems, your ISP may only provide technical support for certain makes and models.
