Keep online with ease

  • Excerpt: It is about 18cm wide, 12cm deep and no more than 3cm thick. It's pretty lightweight, although that means nothing as this sits on the corner table all the time. There is an aerial sticking up from the back which can be moved around.
  • Pros: "handles several wireless devices", "works well", "easy to set up"
  • Cons: none

  • Summary: My only complaint is that the Power Plug on this equipment was for the American market, and no adaptor was supplied.

  • Excerpt: This router came free with my Orange Home Broadband when I was still with the company last year. My first impressions of the router was its style as I hadn't set it up yet. From this visual inspection, it looks very good.
  • Pros: Looks good
  • Cons: Poor range, incompatible with lots of services, bad setup .

Even Orange, who supplied me with it, admitted to me on the phone that "The router is no good"

  • Summary: Not sure what the other people are talking about. For me, it was easy to set up without any glitches and far quicker than my sky router. I purchased mine for about 40 pounds, which isnt bad considering similar types for the price. Would recommend.

Piece of junk

  • Summary: What is it with routers? Netgear, D-Link, Linksys - they all seem to be made by the same Chinese factory, and are all equally crap. My last two routers (Linksys, then D-Link) were both fine until they died - I must have a cursed phone line.

  • Excerpt: This router came free with my new Orange broadband. We used to have Orange broadband before and were very happy with the service and quality, and thus we reordered it now even though BT Broadband was noticeably cheaper at our address.

  • Excerpt: Since moving to a new job recently and into a brand new building we have had a whole new broadband networking system installed. The main computers are hardwired into workstations but the staff need to move around the building and each floor so require a wireless connection.
