Summary: This rice cooker is very basic. It only has two states when plugged in: Warm or Cook. The rice comes out very nice and doesn't stick very much to the bottom. After 2 1/2 years of almost daily use, it's still working fine.
Summary: We got this rice cooker several months ago and we have been very happy with this cooker so far. We cooked white rice, brown rice, millets and it cooks everything perfectly. You just have to figure out how much water to add by trial and error because some rice varieties need more water and some less. We bought RIVAL (I think that is what it was) rice cookers from target before that and that is simply junk. It was cheap but the cooker was cheap too.
Summary: I just love this little Rice Cooker! It makes perfect rice with no fuss. No more burned pots! And, it comes with a veggie steamer and a perfect special spoon to boot. I could not be happier. It is definitely a Great Buy!
Summary: This cooker CANNOT cook rice with its cover on without boiling over! I have an OLD 12 cup Aroma rice cooker and I NEVER had this problem. So if I need to cook only three cups of rice, I would cook it the old fashioned way .... ON THE STOVE IN A POT. SAVE YOUR MONEY ... DON'T BUY THIS RICE COOKER!
Summary: I've used a large rice cooker for years and had been looking for a really good small one. This item fits the bill -- excellent for cooking for one or two people. Instructions are easy to follow, the teflon pot is easy to clean and the plastic "paddle" makes it easy to take stuff out of the pot without scratching the teflon surface. I really like this model.
Summary: AT first, I am pleased with the product. Just do what it should do and easy to clean. However, after 4-months use, I found the non-stick within the bowl began to fall down from piece to piece. I believe I have aten some of them. This is really frustrated!
Summary: I bought this product based on previous experience with an older model of the same brand. What a DISAPPOINTMENT. If one follows the cooking instructions provided, the rice ends up completely uncooked. Also the steamer bowl is too small for anything but beans. If cooked to perfection by " trial-and-error" the rice will stick to the button, on a non-stick surface. The old model was cheaper and much better.
