The Philips SRM7500 remote control is connected to other devices by Infrared or radio. It supports devices for Amplifier, VCR, PC multimedia, DVR, TV, DVD player, AV receiver, Cable box and so on. Besides that, the remote control is seen through LCD display and includes a USB receiver. The SRM7500 is the flagship model of the B2C range. The remote uses a two-way RF technology that controls PC functions, as well as a bright 6-line display that offers functions to view and select content, such as music playlists. Other features that the Philips SRM7500 has are navigation and a music playback controller on the remote control, the Windows SideShow device and the Worldwide 2.4GHz RF for 1-way MCE control & 2-way music control. Besides that, the other features of the device are the Universal & Learnable IR with a setup for the CE device control and the WLP Windows Vista Premium ready for use. The product has dimensions of 50 x 50 x 50 cm and weighs 499 g. The Philips SRM7500 remote control works with three AA batteries (not provided) and its Infrared operating distance is about ten metres from the device used. The UPC number is 609585113541. Among the specifications in the Philips SRM7500 universe remote are the Copy key function, 2 Installation steps, a Language support for GB/F/D/NL/DK/S/N/FIN/I/E/P with 39 keys on the remote’s surface.     I am very happy with this product. I use it for my entire entertainment system, PC, tuner, TV, cable box, DVD player and CD player. Just for the heck of it, I tried the 'learn a function' option to see if it would work for my remote controlled lights and it did. Amazing. Read more

    Easy installation on my living room media center PC running Vista Ultimate. Used the software from the included CD and even though there is a newer version, decided that if it's not broken, why fix it and refused the update. Works like a charm for the past two weeks. Very easy to program to control other devices with clear and easy instructions. Recognized my Denon receiver and Vizio TV instantly. Simple, with all the necessary media center buttons.
