...owever i have never really seen any speaker that can handle 250rms(or whatever a a500 puts out in stereo) For a new AV amp my only real WANT is something that can handle zones so i can get the same music into different rooms. I quite like the look of the Yamaha RXV2700 as it does a range of things including zones. My budget would be £1000 for a new amp, £1000 for speakers (remember 2nd hand and at least 5 of them for surround sound) and then about £500 on a sub. cheers
