New kit on par with old?
...f it in a reasonable way. I currently have a Rotel 1070 Pre and Power amp, ive had it a few years now but it cost me around £800 for them at the time. Ive been looking at getting a surround amp, either the Samsung AVR720 (its very nice to look at) or the Onkyo TXSR605. For the time being the new amp wold be powering my B&W 602.5's, with a possible view to getting a surrond setup later. My question is really, will either of the amps mentioned above compare to my Rotels in terms of SQ? They are around half the cost of my...
