Virtua Tennis World Tour features 8 male and 8 female players competing with a 'star' player. The training modes feature mini-games, short matches and user friendly controls, respectively 1 button each for slice, top-spin and lob shots. The training level is nothing compared to the difficulty level. Some players will even find it hard to complete any of the training exercises even in level 1 and even though you may complete a match, you won’t feel that you are in complete control of the game. The controls are fairly smooth; pressing a button brings your player near the ball and is enough to make contact. Your player will even dive if he has to and will get the ball flown over the net. Amazingly your adversary is as agile and merely seconds later the ball will be returned to you. As per reviewers’ saying to really master Virtua Tennis World Tour you need to get through the basics of court positioning and shot-timing, master the details of after-touch and generally practice to improve your virtual player's skills. There is also a multiplayer option in case you want others to join in. According to reviewers, not many gamers will fall for this game.
